Four-Year-Olds Being Asked To Choose Gender in Britain

The gender identity obsession has hit full-on insanity in the UK. Children, as young as four years old, are now being asked to choose the gender they “most identify with”: male, female, or other. Yes, there was a third option.
Hundreds of parents who signed their children up to attend primary school in the fall were left furious after receiving informational literature from Brighton and Hove City Council which included a request that their four-year-old choose a gender “identity,” reports The Daily Mail UK.
“We recognise that not all children and young people identify with the gender they were assigned at birth or may identify as a gender other than male or female, however the current systems (set nationally) only record gender as male or female,” reads the literature.
Stunningly, the letter instructed parents to “support” their four-year-old’s gender choice: “Please support your child to choose the gender they most identify with. Or if they have another gender identity please leave this blank and discuss with your child's school.”
One mother blasted the letter for treating children like adults: “Children do not have access to an adult view of the world – they don't fully understand permanence, social structures, what is possible and what is not possible,” she said. “Four-year-olds do not generally have fixed views and often don't fully understand that their sex, colour or even species is fixed.”
She added, “Treating children as though they are adults is a dangerous approach from a safeguarding point of view. They are not adults – let them enjoy the innocence and creativity of their childhood.”
Per The Sun, Tory MP Andrew Bridgen also added a voice of protest to the literature: “Schools should be teaching kids to read and write, not prompting them to consider gender swaps.”
The council replied to the outrage, explaining that this was an attempt create a more “inclusive” environment, per requests of parents.
“We have inserted the additional text about gender identity in response to calls from families, young people and schools to show an inclusive approach to gender,” said Cllr Emma Daniel, head of Brighton’s equalities committee.
“There are increasing numbers of children and young people nationally identifying as trans. Many trans people nationally report having been bullied when they were at school,” she added. “By acknowledging the range of gender identities in our school communities we are helping ensure schools are safe spaces for everyone.”
As noted by The Sun, Stephanie Davies-Arai, author and specialist in child communication skills, described the harm in asking children as young as four years of age to "choose" a gender: “If you say the word ‘gender’ to a child they would have no idea what it means,” she said.
“If you tell a child they are the opposite gender then they will think you mean the opposite sex. It’s very confusing and it leads to emotional problems for children,” added Davies-Arai.
“Please support your child to choose the gender they most identify with. Or if they have another gender identity please leave this blank and discuss with your child's school.”

When we are asking four-year-olds to choose a “gender identity,” things may be getting a touch out of hand. But the UK is not alone; clearly, this obsession with gender “identity” has washed over the United States, as well. It’s hard to pinpoint the exact culprit, but universities and colleges in particular have fully and willingly adopted the notion that feelings trump science. This philosophy, mixed with a hypersensitive culture bloated with micro-aggressions, trigger warnings and safe-spaces on such campuses, has led to attempted, and often successful, censorship of dissenters.
If you asked them to choose what animal they would like to be they might even choose to be a puppy. A four year old child does not understand the concept of reality. but then neither do a large number of adults, apparently. They also live in a "lets pretend" universe.

According to the "Progressives" child abuse is helping a child get past UNWANTED same sex attraction or gender confusion and becoming a person who knows which sex he is and is sexually attracted to the other sex, there are only two.
uh huh...according to Progressives the world may
also be flat. ..you never know what convenient science they
choose to make up to suit their agenda...wish that were true and they'd all take a flying leap off the planet! Lol
