Excellent point, ma'am. Dem/Progressives should be educating, not bending over backwards to change things to accommodate everyone. If someone parents don't like Halloween, don't send your children to the party.
Halloween is changing so much around here. The popular thing now is people driving their cars to parking lots, and everyone opens their trunk and the kids walk through trick or treating like that. So lame...

Kids holiday? Back when I was younger, HALLOWEEN WAS A REALLY FUN TIME. One of my husbands best costumes was a pair of paint and grease stained bib overalls and tattered shirt. I washed them for the party. Honest I did -- twice. Then, when we were blessed with children, one would take them trick or treating; and the other would stay home to pass out the treats to the neighborhood children. I miss those times.
