Outrage! NFL execs just SPIT in America’s face

October 20, 2017

When Colin Kaepernick inspired hundreds of millionaire NFL players to disrespect the American flag every Sunday, fans responded with boos.

When the players refused to stop their dishonorable protests, fans began to boycott the league.

If critics thought the NFL had learned their lesson, though, the leagues executives proved this week that they hadn’t. In fact, they’re not only refusing to listen.. they’ve doubled-down.

Not only has the league refused demands that NFL players who kneel be punished, they actually jumped into more liberal nonsense.

The NFL has announced it is backing criminal justice reform legislation introduced last week by Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley and Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin.

In other words, the NFL is beginning to support so-called “social justice” to appease their players — and they’re using their fans money to do it.

“We felt that this was an issue over the last months, as we have continued to work with our players on issues of equality and on issues of criminal justice reform, that was surfaced for us, and we thought it was appropriate to lend our support to it,” NFL spokesman Joe Lockhart told reporters, according to The Daily Caller.

While the bill enjoys bi-partisan support, the fact that a football league would wade into the political landscape to appease it’s players is outrageous.

First, it’s a popular bill. But this is a political slippery-slope the NFL has found itself on.

As for the NFL kneeling controversy, league executives at the fall meeting didn’t change the rules. In fact, they didn’t even discuss the protests.

The subject “did not come up” at the meetings, Dolphins owner Stephen Ross told reporters.

It seems the NFL boycott isn’t going to end soon.

As long as the NFL supports this evil and insane movement, there will be a lot of fans who will turn their backs on these Anti-American teams, and go else where. I remember back in the days, our Teams stood up in respect for our Country and Flag and all who served this mighty Country. How would all these teams feel if they lost their money completely. Greed will get them!!! and they will pay in the end. What do y'all think of this Crazy NFL dealings. I hate it!!!! I miss the good Old Days, when we all stood together.

Never watched foot ball in the first place, so I can safely say that I'm not a fan. Tax payers dollars shouldn't be funding the stadiums for a for profit company. Players salaries might not be so high if taxpayers weren't footing part of the owners expenses. Yes, not standing in the time honored manner is disrespecting those who serve our country. Husband, daughter, brother, in-laws all served in the military. Many of their fellow soldiers didn't come back home whole, that is, those who made it back. Sure the players can protest-our soldiers have helped them to keep that right; however the players have certainly picked an unpopular time and place. Those of us who watch and listen to the side whispers, feel the continuation of kneeling during the anthem is now a slap in the face to all those who served: it is a "so what if your loved one died or is maimed": it is an not quite adult's "look at me, see what I can do" stunt and finally it's a great big "middle finger" being displayed to anyone in the public service arena. The symbols of black power that have been displayed on the field, the lack of their best game being played, the lack of defense for other race members establishes that the players are the ones with a hidden racist agenda. That's what I think, I might be wrong. Change my mind, give it your best shot. After all that's what debate is all about. Showing both sides of an issue.

I know what you mean!!! I served in Vietnam, as a US Navy Nurse!! it saddens me the way these people show such hate and no respect. They will pay in the end!!! and i don't understand why us Taxpayers should have to foot the Bill, so these selfish and evil people can get rich. just by playing a Game. The taxpayers pay for the Stadiums and spill their money into the pockets of these Anti-Americans, yet they show no thanks for it.
