Nor how much ammo I have for them. She knows it's a lot though. I had refilled the battery on my ATV and left the container on a window sill and forgot about it. Wife was watching Grandkids while I was at work. Grandson discovers the acid and thinking it was a sippy started to take a drink. He never got it to his mouth when he started throwing up. Wife in a panic calls me to find out what it is, I tell her to shut up and call 911. Cops, a lot of cops, medics all come to the house. My poor wife is scared shitless as the cops are going into my computer room which has crossbows hanging on the walls, stack upon stack of .50 cal ammo cans full of ammo, 1000 round cases of ammo in cardboard boxes, Ars and other weapons leaning against the wall because there wasn't room in the gun safe for them. Needless to say she thought she was going to jail, one for poisoning the kid and second for all of the weapons and ammo I had. The cops were impressed and caused no problems at all. I finally convinced her that every thing in that room was totally legal. The baby hadn't drunk any of the acid but the fumes made him sick. Mike

You don't need to worry about how many she owns, it's the cast iron fry pan you need to worry about. Mike

Bevos, reminds me of some years ago I bought gold at $250.00 an ounce. My wife hit the roof as we were in your same position. Today I am buying another $10,000 worth I've been saving for at $1280.00 an ounce and she is in total agreement. Mike

Reminds me of my first marriage. He had bought two guns from a local Sporting Goods Store and did not tell me. He also told Dick, the owner, not to send a bill to the house, and he would come in once a month and make a payment on them. Which he did. But, for some reason, about 5 or 6 mos. later we got a bill. And "You know what" hit the fan. We were young, and both working to pay our bills, and raise our family, and could NOT afford $300.00 for two guns, at that time. AND he had told me he traded a bunch of junk he had for the guns.

WOW!! Close call. but I am SO GLAD it turned out OK.

They must have been Conservative Cops, because Libs would have tried to have you investigated and who knows how long you would have been tied up in that!!!

one time? I can understand that. But he also had a big motorcycle, two snowmobiles, one i was "allowed" to use if we went some where together on them, but HIS nonetheless, a dunebuggy, a boat, a pick=up and trailer to haul them all with, PLUS his massive gun collection, and a record collection that would have put a RECORD STORE to shame!!! Guess what I had? Two boys that I had to really scrape to put clothes on their backs, and even, at times, food in their mouths!! AND worrying all of the time that I would not be able to pay all of the bills.

When I left him, it was THE SMARTEST move I ever made. Even though he rarely ever pd. Child Support, and I never believed in Welfare, and sometimes I had to scrape at times, the boys and I had SO MUCH MORE than we EVER had with him. namely because I was no longer so stressed out trying to justify things or balance the sheet!!

The price has come down?? My late Husband and I used to Dredge and pan for gold. LOVED it. MUCH more fun, and I'll bet we did not spend half as much on the equip. as you have on the gold you have bought.

Sounds like he has a real problem and you were very smart to get the kids and yourself out before things could go wacky. Mike
