NFL should Cancel this Season

The owners should cancel the rest of this NFL season and apologies to the fans for the behavior of some of their players. They should try and find a new crop of respectful players for next season. Salaries should be capped at $500,000. Ticket prices should be slashed by 80%. Predatory concession prices should be prosecuted. The reason to cancel the season is to show the players whose the boss.

Great idea, the NFL and players have entered into an agreement called a contract. If the NFL shuts down they still must pay the players who can then focus on winter in the tropics. The same gos for salary caps, contract doesn’t allow them so they aren’t happening. You had better get used to players reverently kneeling for the anthem or start going to powderpuff games where the players can be coerced into doing what you want.

You're correct regarding Players' Contracts and Salary Caps...
But the NFL is a Private Corporation, and as such when the League requires its Employees to comply with certain actions in relation to their jobs, the Employees need to comply or face disciplinary actions, including fines and possible termination for insubordination...
When the National Anthem is played prior to the games, the Players are suited and are certainly at work, and as such are bound by NFL Regulations...

The military pays the NFL 5/6 million dollars per year to participate in the pre game ceremonies. The military should demand their money back and they should no longer participate in pre game ceremonies including flag raising, national anthem and fly overs. In addition the NFL is tax exempt. This needs to cease and they should be taxed as any other corporation.

Although would not have an effect on me.
Gave away tickets, have not watched a game (sadly).
Not buying anything advertised on NFL.
Memorabilia gone to charity, or tossed out.

Love it, you are so right. They are all overpaid. You can hardly even afford to go to a game, cost to park, don't buy a drink, too costly. Then they don't respect our flag, or our country, kneeing instead of standing to honor those who fought to keep them free to play and earn the big bucks, shame on them, boycott them all!
