When I first came here,,,, a conservative Native American, I yearned for intelligent debate, with people on the left who would listen and actually think about what life on the inside of a minority world is like,,, especially when dealing with bureaucrats.......
My dead mother was called a whore,,,, my wife was insulted, my daughters were threatened with rape and murder,, my sons called f=ggots... by fun loving wonderful inclusive LIBERALS,,,
Which was my point,,, liberals are not inclusive unless you kiss their a-s,,,, because as a minority,, you are like an animal they keep in a zoo, until they need you to vote....
I was called a worthless drunk (a stereotype racial slur) even though I am a tee-totaller....
I have to argue ridiculous "science" information with people who have no degree,,, yet beleive that scientifically they can produce an article from SALON or Rolling Stone,,,, that stands up as "science",,,,, and yet be maligned when their bs doesnt match the actual science.. and I have an actual Doctorate,,,
So for admin,, I guess my question is "Why now?",,,, now that you have allowed sooooo much racial hatred and viciousness, including posts of kiddie porn anime to deride the conservative side,,,,,, are you now going to change???

Over the time I have been here, I have used the report issue and complained about the crude language and unvalidated assertions at least 50 times, and it has ALWAYS been ignored. At the same time, I have been criticized for using ll cpitls for emphasis in both headlines and text. I have not been able to understand the priorities of ADMIN yet, and perhaps I never will.

I worked with a Msgt on Quantico,,, when 60 minutes was on base about a killing and trial,,,,,,, a reporter came up to the Master Sgt,,, who was black,,
and me a boot LT,, (I was being baby sat)
They asked him if he thought the marines were unfair to blacks,,,, he said,, "No,,,, they are completely fair,,, the Marines treat everybody like N-ggers"
The director yelled "CUT",,,,, and they turned off the mics,,,,, I thought my red skinned a-s couldnt get any redder,,,, but it did,,,, and I laughed my a-s off...........
Then later as a 1 LT (much older and wiser) I was whining to my Gunny about something being "Not fair" and he said,,, "Sir,,, its fair!! It is so fair, it hurts sometimes"...... he was a wise man
I learned a lot from those men, who told the truth,,, whether I wanted to hear it or not......... truth is always right

I have experienced much of the same, including moving posts from the place I put them into different sites, particularly moving MAIN subjects to Religion, just because they contained comments in favor of God, morality or right and wrong.

I haven't been here all that long so don't know a lot of history. Certainly unhappy to read about people who insult others. I did a lot of time in the USN and learned all sorts of swear words, vulgarity, filth, etc. My upbringing taught me when/if it might be ok to use some of the words. There are many on here who use filth when it is totally out of line.
Re Admin. I have put people on my ignore list but their trash is still there for me to sort through. Exactly what is the function of the ignore list? Why can't it be used to automatically filter those on the list from posting where I see it?
