People have been making homemade bump stocks forever. True or not the ban is posturing and nothing more...and does less than nothing to deal with the problem, which is PEOPLE.

You don't need a special butt stock to bump fire a semi-auto. There are a number of bump fire techniques with semi-autos that don't require any special add-ons, just a good gun and some strong fingers and arms.

Nope. Can't ban people and they're the problem. Consider the rhetoric. It's OK to kill conservatives and Republicans. Obama started it, our institutions of learning reinforced it, Hollywood glorifies it (and everything else) and it's been embraced by a lot of folks. Leftists have traditionally used violence to overthrow governments and that's what you're seeing. Just a feeling, but the Vegas shooter had a specific reason for doing what he did.

What a load of crap, since abortion was made legal the number of women who die from abortions has plummeted to the point that it is 26 times more likely for a woman to die bringing a pregnancy to term than having a first trimester abortion. There are no statistics showing marijuana causes even a handful of fatalities much less 80K a year. You are correct on the auto accident stats but cars at least serve a societal purpose beyond killing people.
