Jesus was Jewish. The Jews that inhabited Palestine during the time of Jesus were overwhelmingly Caucasian.

Good, but if you make that "New England Klan Chowder" I'll agree 100%.

I fondly remember my first car. It was yellow, no AC and a stick shift. I bought it used, already 8 years old. When it turned 14 I had to rebuild the engine, and I had parts left over...never did figure out where they went, but the car ran fine. It was a VW, 38 miles to the gallon.... one heck of a car. It has been restored and I now drive it (when it is not too hot) just because he is fun to drive and people ask me where I found such an "old" VW. Oh, it was built in 1962.

My first car would not hold $7 worth of gas, if I drove up to the pump running on fumes. I swore that if gas hit a dollar a gallon I would sell my car and buy a mule. (In rural New Mexico in the seventies, that was not so far-fetched).

I bought a 68 bug new. Red with moonroof .$2105 out the door . Drove the wheels off it for a couple of years . They always looked slow even in traffic but they kept up till about 50 mph . Top end was a strain but 70 or so could be obtained .Wobbled a wee bit but in my deft young hands with all two windows up front open , two rear ones cracked open , moonroof as well and 8 track playing Joe Cocker what could possibly go wrong . I got by with a little help from my friends .

I know . To many "buts" . I am lazy but I my grammer coach will be chewing me out shortly.

You had a new bug with an 8 track? Another damn spoiled rich kid. Mine was 7 years old, ripped upholstery, radio didn't work, heater didn't work. Don't know how fast mine would go. I never had it over about 70 or so. I'm sure it would have reached 110 mph if I could have found a high enough cliff to drive it off.

Pffffttt! When I was a junior in high school, I made out with my ex wife's best friend in the back seat of a bug while my ex was driving. I rounded second that night only to be thrown out at third. I don't remember the year model. I think she was a '61, or '62. The last time I saw her about a year ago, I figured there isn't a body shop skilled enough to restore her. Probably no salvageable parts either.
But it was a fun car to go running around in!

Paid cash with saved money mostly from first term in the military . You know
the large pay back then for junior enlisted and of course my profits from
participating in war . My massive war profits .

I had to wait on the eight track a few months as I was once again broke
from driving off the show room floor with that shiny new red bug .

Ah youth brought many advantages . In your case below it brought you agility
of not only body but of mind .
Though I was 6'2" at the time I found my inner & outer agility myself .
When there is a will there is a way .

I had no money saved. Well, I did, but my ex took care of that for me. You know what they say about divorce......

Brother , I thought I could have written a book on that truism following my first .
I could have as well but no, I did not pay attention to myself till after my third
go around . It was almost to late . I am still kickin 19 yrs after the last .
These days when one of the silver or orange haired lady's even looks hungry
for other than food , i look at my feet , twiddle my thumbs , say Harumph a
'few times while doing a 180 and walk off .

Don't get me wrong . Still love the lady's . I was just in the wrong mind
at the wrong time .

I have a few very nice lady friends . Nice lady friends . Did I say " nice lady
friends " ? That's what I am takin about . Nice !
