Kaepernick Foundation Gave $25K to Group Honoring Cop-Killer
Amidst the fury over the NFL players kneeling during the national anthem – the heated arguments about Trump, the fecklessness of league officials – we as Americans have forgotten something important that goes to the heart of the issue and should unite us all: Colin Kaepernick is a jerk.

But now, Valerie Richardson writing in The Washington Times, reminds us just how repulsive Kaepernick’s views really are. The erstwhile QB and communist dictator enthusiast has a self-named foundation formed in 2016 to grant $1 million to “organizations working in oppressed communities.”

“So far,” according to Richardson, “he has given $900,000 to 31 organizations.” Those include Meals on Wheels, as well as groups with all the lefty preoccupations: “abortion, climate change, criminal justice reform and immigration.” (Aborion? Nothing says "black lives matter" like killing black infants.)

One of the more noteworthy of them is, Richardson explains, “Assata’s Daughters, a Chicago ‘direct action’ resistance organization honoring Assata Shakur, who escaped prison and fled to Cuba after being found guilty in the 1973 murder of Officer Werner Foerster.” Yep, a group founded in honor of a cop-killer. That must be where he got his fetching cop-pig socks. Assata’s Daughters must give them away like PBS tote bags during pledge drives.

Can somebody tell me who this guy was before he played in the pros ? Was he any good is college ? I never heard of him until he took his first knee. For a non star player he sure wields a lot of power in the NFL.

I'm not surprised that Colin gave money to lefty groups to get tax write offs. But the real test of whether he's really committed to so called social injustice is how he's voted. Did he support Obama, in 2008, or when he ran for re-election in 2012? Who did he support for California governor? Guess what folks? Colin has NEVER registered to vote!! Not once in his entire life according to records with the Secretary of State in Sacramento. So much for Colin doing all he can to advocate for his so called oppressed black brothers. HE DOESN'T EVEN VOTE!!!

Actually I.for one, am happy he doesn't vote. Maybe he can't find enough Marxists to vote for, or his Muslim wife wants his to move somewhere where Muslims are in charge, like Minneapolis and vote there.

Now it's all becoming understandable. Mediocre quarterback, lots of bench time, so apathetic and unpolitical he never even bothered to register to vote, half black, raised by his white mother, in the Calif bay area, and likely no good role model for how an adult man behaves himself, and now, to top it all off now I learn he married a muslim woman. It all falls into place.
Result: A spoiled, narcissistic, whiny, entitled, immature, attention-seeking athlete who can't get attention the hard way - for his athletic prowess. So he takes the easy way out to get attention, throw a tantrum for 'social justice'.
(Ironically he never even bothered to have his voice heard at the ballot box)

((Kaepernick Foundation Gave $25K to Group Honoring Cop-Killer)) Its really easy to be a "voice" when ur not walking the streets of a city trying to keep criminals from thefts, etc... Too many policemen have died keeping people like this jerkhead from harm... He doesnt even know how well off he really is.

So his adventures are because of his wife ? If he had actually played a little more and made more money his wife could have done much better for herself.

I thought injury was what messed up his performance but this bio does not mention any. I did not look very far for more information..

At John H. Pitman High School in Turlock, California, Kaepernick was a first-team All-District, All-Conference and All-Academic selection. But Kaepernick, whose big arm was hampered by what scouts viewed as a poor throwing motion, was largely passed over by the major college football programs. There were also concerns that the razor thin athlete—he matched his 6'4" frame with just 170 pounds—would get hurt.

College Years

It was only after a tryout at a camp put on by the University of Nevada, Reno, that Kaepernick showed enough to warrant a scholarship, and he subsequently enrolled at the school in the fall of 2007. Recruited to play safety, Kaepernick stepped in to play QB in the fifth game of his freshman year, when the team's starter went out with an injury against Fresno State. Throwing for 384 yards and four touchdowns, Kaepernick never relinquished the starting role and finished the year with 19 touchdowns.

Fast and strong, Kaepernick put up gaudy numbers during his four years playing for the Wolf Pack. He set several school records and became the first quarterback in the history of Division I FBS to pass for more than 10,000 yards and rush for more than 4,000 yards.

While concerns about Kaepernick's throwing accuracy still hovered around him, the San Francisco 49ers selected the quarterback in the second round of the 2011 NFL draft.

Rising Star

After serving as a backup throughout his rookie season to the team's longtime starter, Alex Smith, Kaepernick took over as the team's No. 1 quarterback in 2012, after Smith was forced to sit out late in the year as a result of a concussion.

As he had done in college, Kaepernick quickly adapted to the new competition, dazzling 49er fans and coaches with his unmatched athleticism. After the second-year QB led the club to several big wins, 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh named the young player his permanent starting quarterback. Because the team had come within several plays of going to the Super Bowl just a year before, and because Smith had recently garnered one of the league's premier QB ratings, the decision was a controversial one.

But Kaepernick shut out the noise. As the wins mounted, Kaepernick's celebrity grew, even his well-tattooed arms gained notoriety. In his first postseason start, he dominated Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, rushing for 181 yards to a set a new NFL single game record for a quarterback. After defeating the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC championship game, Kaepernick and the 49ers fell to Ray Lewis and the Baltimore Ravens at Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans.

"It's good to get the experience," a somber Kaepernick said after the game. "We should have won that game regardless, though."

Pro Struggles

Kaepernick opened the 2013 season on a strong note, passing for 412 yards and three touchdowns. The 49ers went on to notch a 12-4 record and earn a playoff berth, although this time the season ended with a close loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC championship game.

Despite more standout moments from their franchise QB, the 49ers slipped to an 8-8 mark in 2014. The wheels then completely came off in 2015, with Kaepernick losing his starting job before being sidelined for the final month-plus with a shoulder injury. After the season, his desire to be traded to another team went unfulfilled.
