What we're discussing is health INSURANCE. Being insured is a CHOICE that every American has the opportunity to make. A number of younger people will hedge their bets and choose not to get health insurance. I actually had a married couple that used to work for me that chose NOT to get health insurance, saying, "I am not spending my money on that!" A choice.

I know this is hard for someone like you to understand, but health CARE and health INSURANCE are two different things.

It is like car insurance -- you purchase car insurance based on the premise that there is a CHANCE your car could be damaged or totaled in an accident, and you protect yourself accordingly based on that assumption. The same assumption could be made on healthcare insurance. People who purchase health insurance are hedging their bets.

I have spent a lot time working with the national kidney foundation. Because I have a son that has been on dialysis now for two years. I attended monthly meetings at the Kidney transplant center. Over the last year I was able to get 12 people health Insurance 2 of them were kids and it was gut wrenching to see it. There parents could not afford the medication these two kids needed.
But knowing the total scope of the ACA I was able to help them.
Maybe you UN caring pieces of garbage should maybe visit some of these hospitals that have Children in them and tell me it's a great idea to put life time limits back into law, tell me pre existing conditions gets you put into a high risk pool where there are no limits as to what insurance companies can charge. Damm you people live in a cloud these kids will reach there lifetime limits before they reach the age of 12 and they will never be able to get medical insurance again.
