I also tend to make some commentary to elicit discussion, although I may cloud my purpose in sarcasm a bit too often. A wise man said "it takes all kinds". We have some individuals here who may well be "all kinds". It may explain in part the varied responses we see to simple commentary.

I think there is a lot of truth in what you just said. Nobody knows when Christ is returning or the time of any of the other events. I am an Evangelical, Orthodox Christian that gets a little annoyed when people put more emphasis on events like this instead of teaching what Christ has to offer for all us old Sinners. If you are in Christ, nothing to worry about. It happens when it happens.

And you are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!!! Too many so called Christians follow every word their pastors tell them instead of tasting, savoring and learning to rightly divide God's Word with the divine help of the Holy Spirit. Much of what is coming out of the pulpit today is demonic and teaches contrary doctrine. Easter and Xmas are just two of them.
