I just reviewed an article and video where Dr. Carson was asked about running for political office. He didn't say that he was going to run for political office but I thought how refreshing it would be to have an HONORABLE man in the White House. The audacity of Obama harassing such a person just because he disagreed with Obama's healthcare plan is disgusting, and shows what a lowlife immoral person Obama actually is. Dr. Carson is a deserving person who should be respected by all people including the blacks for what he has accomplished and from where he came. I also listened to an interview of representative Trey Gowdy. He is like a bulldog when it comes to the law and justice and the right way to conduct oneself. This man's impressive record as a prosecutor is to be admired. The interviews and recordings of his questioning of witnesses that come before his committee is refreshing. It appears to Mr. Gowdy is being interviewed more and more often and being featured as a guest on more and more programs. One can only hope that he aspires to be more than a representative from South Carolina.

I thought what a ticket it would make for Dr. Carson and representative Gowdy to run for president and vice president or for Dr. Carson to run for president and name Mr. Gowdy as Atty. Gen. think about that for a moment.

Dr. Carson is an honorable Christian black man who has achieved more in his lifetime that Obama ever will. He is so much more qualified to lead this country away from socialist agendas than almost anyone else I can think of. I truly believe that all the actions that he would take would at least be done with the good of the country at heart and not for some personal agenda of enriching himself or empowering himself at the cost of Americans freedoms.

Trey Gowdy as Atty. Gen. would be a remarkable appointment. There would be no cover-ups or political pandering to cover the political ass of the President. People who broke the law would be prosecuted. Is that not the way that the office of Atty. Gen. should be run?

I guess I'm dreaming the impossible dream but I truly believe that this pairing would be AMAZING for the health and welfare of this country and ALL Americans.

Dr. Ben and Rep. Gowdy are to be watched for the future. I agree 100% with your reasoning. Both of these men deserve and are qualified to be in positions to run this country honestly and successfully. Let's hope for this to happen soon.
This country is in serious trouble, and we need people in office who can correct this inept administration.

This will not happen unless we make it happen. I urge all of you to go to Trey's Facebook page and join the group Trey Gowdy for president. If he throws his hat into the mix that will give him the exposure he needs to jump to the national stage.

Quite come time ago... after listening to Trey Gowdy in one of his sessons, I was very impressed with him and his knowledge but mostly... his aggressiveness of things that are wrong. He would make a great President and Dr.. Carson would make a great VP. Trey for his bulldog manners ( much like Christy was) and Carson to soothe those he might offend. We surely need someone who will humble themselves to the job of President instead of someone who 'constantly' brags on himself by saying... As President... As Commander in Chief ...While being President, etc..... Obama is constantly referring to him as PRESIDENT... like he's just found a NEW word he hasn't heard before and has to BRAG on HIS find....

I'm a little disappointed, when I started this thread I wanted to see what the libertards would say. So far noting but like thinking smart people have posted. C'mon liberals, where are the racist comments and the calling Dr. Carson an Uncle Tom and Gowdy as a racist? Such a disappointment.

Actually Dana, if you read his biography he says he was a violent child and aggressive. His mother forced him out of that world and he grew up respectful and aggressive seeking knowledge. Just shows what can happen if you have a true parent that cares and is willing to do whatever it takes to see their child become a productive member of society instead of a welfare collecting parent that could careless about doing the right thing. One of the biggest problems this country has, and a huge portion of the black community and well as hispanics have this problem.

What he described in his book as I understood it when I read it several years ago was a normal response to bullying and being called stupid continuously.

If Carson had a violent nature... I assure you it would have already come out before now... They're just jealous of his abilities and mannerisms.... He told of his quiet childhood and how his Mom was.... he's a very gentle soul.. and quite genuine.. he certainly not faking it. He came from a very humble beginning and made something of himself... But the blacks of today can't even learn to speak English... cause it's not BLACK talk....

Granted your claim is right more times than wrong buuutttt being multi racial I can assure you that it isn't true always.
Let your God given skills of discernment be your guide as to who to trust and who not to trust regardless of skin color.

Oh.. I know people of other races... but I'm also very choosey about who they are just as there are some whites I wouldnt give the time of day to. There is misery in all races... hatred in all races... and genuine caring in all races. When I was growing up.. race was never mentioned... people were people... regardless of who they were.. but in today's time... there is so much hatred unlike those yester years.... so much so .. it's hard to understand how we have become the nation we now are... Jealousy fuels hatred.... some will say it dosent but it does.

It's the haves and the have nots.... then jealousy takes hold and sprout legs and continues to grow. I've encountered many a thing in stores unbecoming to those who seemed to dish it out. It's taught in the homes, churches and on TV.... Jealousy is a word which will destroy a person unless it's controlled. I have often watched those poor people living in Africa with nothing but dirty water, little food if any... and only mud huts to sleep in. Then I think when I pass on.. I will come back like one of them as punishment for what I have taken for granted here on this earth.
