As far as I can tell, the removal of multiple statues hasn't changed US history, and I've looked very carefully. Maybe it will require every single statue to be removed before the magic happens and our history changes. I'm curious to see if those of us who know our history pretty well, will just forget all of a sudden when that happens - or if we'll have to go to a re-education camp.

Unfortunately the re-education camps already exist. They are called public schools, public high schools and public universities.

I don't know how long you have been out of high school but I know, very well, that I won't be around much longer and that all others like me will be leaving soon. We were taught, and in my case taught, a whole different story than the left tells now. When we are gone I don't know what those left will know or care about. The changes have been taking place and we all know it. If you don't take your butt down to the closest high school and look through their American History text. The crap I talk about was going on in the late 70s when I was trying to find a decent text and ended up keeping my old 1957 version.

May I suggest that you may even find the book I just couldn't stand more than any of the others and what it tried to portray as real crap from that time. A letter from a Union soldier to his mother that was so serious about having "diora" all the time. Horse's nose, who cares how poorly those people spelled?

The link I offered explained how that statue got there. The fact that they put it in a conspicuous spot is what bothers me. All these people are talking about those statues being so nasty to look at and I bet not one of the Antifas sees Lenin as something really bad to look at.
