Repreations, yea or nay?

From Washington Examiner

Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., has proposed the bill in each Congress for at least the last two decades.

A description of the bill said the legislation would set up a commission to both examine the possibility of reparations, but also an apology for the “racial and economic discrimination against African-Americans.”

It’s a response to the “fundamental injustice, cruelty, brutality, and inhumanity of slavery in the United States.”

Conyers’ new bill wasn’t released as of Wednesday, but the version of the bill proposed last year found that 4 million blacks were enslaved in the U.S. from 1619 to 1865. It said the commission would examine the entire history of slavery, and then make recommendations on whether the U.S. government should apologize for slavery, and whether reparation payments are warranted.

I say yes.

Cut them a check, apologize, and make one clear stipulation.

And that is, we don't want to hear one more word from you whining about the past.

Take your check and your apology and shut up...................................Period.

I think the US government should put the black leadership in contact with the Arab nations and let them get their apology and reparation payment from the people who sold them into slavery. Barring that let them sue the African nations who took their ancestors captive and sold them as slaves. When they collect send them a bill for all the welfare and government freebies they have received since.

Reparation's, Yea or Nay?

I say YES, but after an agreed payment, they receive a one way ticket, BACK TO "MOTHER AFRICA", where NO WHITE PERSON,
Can be blamed, or Extorted, for any perceived wrong's, REAL or IMAGINED, & These Black People, can be RESPONSIBLE, for their own DESTINY!!! No Deposit, NO RETURN; but I would guarantee, a one year Foreign Aide Package, with Food's, Medicine's & Miscellaneous Medical Supplies, & of course, A
certain number of Military Grade, Weapon's, &
Tool's, & Agricultural Seed's, & Supplies for planting & Harvesting, For A Maximum of One Year. I believe many of these Particular Black's,
alway's SO UNHAPPY, with The U.S., would "JUMP AT THE CHANCE", to return to their "ROOT'S", within LIBERIA(founded by former Slaves). Many of the unhappy, WHITE LIBERAL'S, could also "GO WITH THEM", as advisor's. This New Program, would also Include
ALL Currently Incarcerated, Black Inmates, Warehoused, in The Huge Prison System. The One Way Release, would be Conducted by an ALL BLACK, COMMITTEE, on a Case by Case,
Determination!!!

Reparations are ridiculous, mostly because those persons DIRECTLY affected are dead and one cannot change the past. Why not give Indians all their land back while we're at it? Why not pay Indians all the profits made on their stolen land, as a "we're sorry we stole your shit" gesture? I could use some extra coin.

Actually the blacks today should be thankful that America had slaves otherwise look at conditions they would be living in today. President Monroe, using American money, bought a portion of land in Africa and allowed those slaves who wished to, form their own Country and go there to live. It's called Liberia. Totally ruled from day one by blacks, no white interference except to supply them until they could get on their feet. Look up Liberia today. It is and has been a hell-hole. Mike
