When I think about it, I don't think I would miss them personally. I also find it hard to think that the nation as a whole would. So what do you think?

I would miss California. I just wouldn't miss Californians. Let's face facts; California would be a nice place if there weren't so many Californians living there.

We would miss their economy and what they contribute to our own. I am pretty sure that if they withdrew that China would have a larger economy than ours and they would still hold our debt only now we would have much less ability to pay it back. Of course all those liberals would be gone so yayyyyy, aint' life as a third world nation just grand....

I have to ask. If their economy is so great, why is that we hear so often they are going broke?
Is it liberal mismanagement, or to may on welfare?

As can be seen on this web page.
http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/california-is-broke-19-reasons-why-it-may-be-time-for-everyone-to-leave-the-state-of-california-for-good

It is also interesting to watch the video on Texas VS Cal. That shows up after the first video on this page.

I live in California and I think you all are right. To many people on welfare and to many illegal mexicans. I'm just about to the point of moving away from here.

Damn Petey, I thought the liberal goal was to turn us into a 3rd world country....with indoor plumbing anyway. I say quit riding that fence and make up your mind, you want to import as many of these 3rd world burdens as you can.........don't complain when it happens.

Cali is pretty much a 3rd world place now......I would see no loss in their departure.

Californica today as well in the past is a good indicator of where the rest of the nation is headed.and that in its self is not good.

I've been thinking about this and I think we would miss them. First, they do make pretty good wine. I think I could survive on Washington state wine from the Columbia Valley though which is just as good and in some ways, better. California is a nice climate and San Francisco is a fun place to visit, if for no other reason, to make one appreciate home. I think I could be satisfied with visiting some of the other nice places in the Country. I suppose we would then have to build a wall along the Nevada and Arizona border and that would get expensive.

If you sail too far North or too far South, you'll miss California.

Well folks, California wants to be sanctuary city, Fine. Pull every single penny from Government subsidies etc. Then they can have the sanctuary status and all the dregs of the swamp can run there to escape prosecution. Set up a border, require a passport.
