NEWS COMMENTARY Robert Mueller Pulls The Rug Out From Under Mike Pence Presidential Plans

As the vice president under the struggling Trump administration, Mike Pence has been trying his best to keep a polished halo. Republicans have been betting on Pence as their out in case Trump folds; Pence is a Neocon zealot who will be just as much of a bigoted white knight to appeal to Mitch McConnel and Jeff Sessions, while having many times more IQ points than Trump. In fact, why didn't Pence just run on his own? This is an enduring mystery.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has scratched the needle on Mike Pence's victory march to the White House. In his continued investigation into Russian collusion, Mueller has targeted the White House with document requests for all records pertaining to the hiring of ex-National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. Flynn had to resign right after Attorney General Sally Yates blew the whistle on Flynn's foreign ties.

Michael Flynn was disgraced from his post when it became known that he'd hobnobbed with Russian president Vladimir Putin and Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak without disclosing it on his security clearance forms, and also that he was taking money from the nation of Turkey to steer his advisory of national defense matters.

Mueller has already seated a grand jury to aide with his Russian collusion investigation. The chief concern with Pence is that Pence cleared Flynn to be hired, so if Flynn was lying about being a paid foreign agent, Pence would have known about it and knowingly lied about it to the press. While Trump himself has expressed almost tearful yearning to have Flynn in his staff, even after the ugly charges came to light, it might be Pence taking the fall for it, seeing as how Pence headed the transition team

the next investigation will involve all the Russian money contributed to house and senate R members. What did they promise?
