Was he trying to justify his own beliefs? At least the taxpayers are not paying big bucks to fund these asinine fools, unless they want to. The Temperance Movement, and others, come out with these anti-alcohol statements, yet in the New Testament, Timothy, book 1, Chapter 5, verse 23 (king James version) "Drink no longer water, but drink a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine oft infirmities."
