I spent seven days in the Mojave desert back in 2014.

We stayed in Needles and conducted surveys for the National Parks Dept.

We are all Americans living under the flag of freedom.

And there is already enough negativity without adding to it from your perspective.

So let's start out on a positive note.

Yes I'm a republican who voted for Trump.

But I can assure you that my cerebral contents are functioning normally.

We may be opposed on the political level.

But I bet we can both agree that the Mojave is a magical and formiddable geological wonder.

Thank you all for such a warm red welcome. In less than five minutes, I have been called numbnutZ, dummy, snowflake (?), child with a teddy bear, and brainless. Your going to have to do better than that to shut me up, and the same back to you, if that makes you feel better. I live in one of only three red counties in the state, I am outnumbered 25,000 to 10 and your driveling does not impress. Just remember, in 3 1/2 years when you are dying from cancer, who it was that replaced your health insurance with death coverage. But then, we won't be here to laugh at you because all us snowflakes living on both coasts will be underwater sacking on our teddy bears. Have a wonderful day listening to those "alternative facts" you'all eat up like candy.

Just a piece of advice from a guy who has had a lot of water flow under his bridge: don't come onto a political board populated by people you do not know, and describe the POTUS as a "frustrated dictator," and then comment you believe those who voted for him "[must] have no brain power." This is the quickest way I know to incur the ire/wrath of these same people. Next thing you know, you'll be referring to them as "deplorables."

I can only guess you now realize which side of the political fence I'm on....
