Proud Army Veteran of 12 years, wanted to retire on active duty, fate stepped in. Returned home from contract work 2008. Thanks to President Obama I've been in shock at our current local and world status of our beloved America ever since Jan of 2010. I find I have anger issues and I cannot work with undisciplined liberal civilians any longer, its not for me not trying as I get along well with all of our fellow veterans. I am deplored at the conditions I find my fellow Americans having to endure. Millions of born and bread Americans unemployed, no homes, living on the streets, no health coverage, surviving on $157 a month in food stamps for a family of 2, our veterans waiting for their disability to be seen can take anywhere up to 800 days or longer to be approved. Illegal immigrants are flooding our country and being given special status. And now we see Islam extremist attempting to take over the World proclaiming Islam will dominate. We see and we know the current life and struggles of our Warfighters on the front lines where he/she must endure horrendous injustice such as fouled up ROE's. I hear from our troops how they no longer receive hot meals. As a American and a Warfighter I accept hard times come in training and or on the front lines. After returning home, I never ever thought I could or would ever feel anything like the bitter anger I do right now for any President or his administration like President Obama. The last time I was this angry was when President Jimmy Carter was in office, and the anger I felt at that time was nothing compared to what is currently taking place. President Obama is not my CIC, I did not vote for him, I did not know one thing about him while he ran for office, but I did pray for him to do great things for our America and our fellow Americans. I will stand with our fellow military and our veterans to do what ever is necessary to get President Obama and his entire administration out of our beloved White house. He is a total disgrace to the office, he is not a leader and does not know what the word means or represents. May God Bless America and I pray we get her back to where she used to be, a proud and shining example of truth, freedom, with high ethical standards of decency for all.

Why on earth do you people believe that: 1) Obama, coming to office in 2009 is suddenly responsible for conditions generated long before; 2)Obama is a dictator (it's unconstitutional)who can govern without the Republican-controlled Congress; and 3)the deficit-building and war-promoting, tax-reducing, corporate friendly Republicans (1995-2006) had nothing to do with the economic and social messes which litter our country? Have you no memory of the last twenty years? Do you forget that the Republican-controlled Congress has sworn to prevent Obama from doing anything, even shutting down the government? Where exactly are you with respect to the news and the facts? I served our country in the military a long time ago and I taught history in high school for decades - so I have nothing but sympathy for those who have been serving in the military in recent years. But I know that it isn't Obama who is responsible for the messes created before he became president or for the failures since. The very idea that he is an "enemy" absolutely contradicts the facts. But perhaps it is necessary for you believe that he is an enemy, in order to feel some self esteem. I'm so sorry.

1) Certainly do not hold Obama responsible for conditions generated prior to him becoming President in 2008 - but he did promise to make things better and to be more transparent. So far he has failed miserably to make things better and has the least transparent administration in history.
2) You are right he cannot be a dictator, because of the House - He certainly wants to be, and is trying to be - "I have a phone, and a pen" - he wants to dictate to both the House and the Senate to forward his agenda - it would serve everyone better if he work in conjunction with all branches of the gov't instead of those who bow down to him.
3) No one has said that the Repubs were blameless - however, Obama said he could and would make things better - he has made them worse.

There is the problem, he most definitely is responsible for the multitude of failures since he became president and folks like you give him a pass. Therefore, you have nothing left but to heap abuse on those who are more enlightened, and critical of your idol, than yourselves.

I do not give Obama a "pass." I am not nominating him for Best Pres of the U.S. I am disappointed with many of his decisions, especially in education and Iraq, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo. I said what I believe: He cannot alone simply legislate his promises; there's a Congress, and the Republicans there vowed from the beginning not to cooperate with him at all, and they have kept to their promise - which is really a vow to punish the people of the United States who voted for Obama. Republicans want to punish people they see as enemies; they belong to a party which designates these folks as deserving and those folks as undeserving. But first and foremost, the love government and power it gives them, the love corporations and money they give them, and they don't care much for 70-80 percent of the American people. Obama does - and the stimulus he proposed worked, if the health care law was corrupted by corporate lobbyists. He can't fill empty positions on our courts because of Republican senators, he can't reduce the deficit because of the people built the deficit - Republicans. If there are bad guys in this dysfunctional government, it's the people who refuse to compromise - a necessary act in government. Obama has offered to do so and has done so many times - too many, perhaps. . Republicans refuse always. Why? They're bought (as are some Democrats) by corporate monies. The villain in Washington is corporate money. Do yiu believe coerporations care about the people of the USA?
