How is the question relevant? Even you have no clue.

You seem to know so much about planned parenthood....how long since you've used their services. All you're doing is coming back with crap answers that are just plain ignorant.

Should have followed Colorado's example of free contraceptives--the birthrate among teenagers across the state plunged by 40 percent from 2009 to 2013, while their rate of abortions fell by 42 percent.

Is Colorado Dispensing Hypodermics From Vending Machines Yet ??

No taxpayer dollars go to abortions: got it! Nada, zero, zilch. Defunding Planned Parenthood in the vain and stupid hope of limiting abortions has the opposite effect. Take the brain-dead legislature of Texas. The state has seen an increase of teen pregnancy by 3.2% and abortions are up 15% since their mindless bills. Defunding an organization that gives premium healthcare to those who cannot afford it and does not--DOES NOT--do abortions is repulsive and destructive. Women suffer for this male insouciance.

Ahhhhh, that premium healthcare dispensed from quality strip centers...yea!

Ever wish your parents would have taken advantage of all that planned parenthood offers? You should be a victim of that quality healthcare you speak of.......Punk!

We're in a single issue America. Pick an issue, ignore EVERYTHING else - and fight to the death. Anti abortion activists don't want to discuss unwanted pregnancy, or the sheer volume of unwanted children desperately needing homes, nor will they expend any effort trying to deal with THOSE issues. In a nut shell, those folks ONLY care about the unborn child, but once the child is born....f&ck 'em.

We would still be an English colony had our forbears been so shortsighted.....and lazy.

Taxpayer funding for any "benefit" organization is not part of the American concept of "limited government." Government interference in the "free market" results in greater problems than those of the free market. If parents want to "plan" them selves then let them hire a "planner" with their own "earned from their own labor" money. The American mind is n "independent mind and wallet;" it is not a "dependent mind and stolen money" mentality.

Wow- you are colossally ignorant, or dishonest. In the last year data was compiled, from Oct. 1, 2012, to Sept. 30, 2013 Planned Parenthood performed 327,653 abortions, which averages out to 898 abortions a day, or 37 abortions an hour

Damn straight they do, especially when they're not taught how to prevent it!

You should have read the link I provided--all about providing contraception as a means of reducing abortions. Colorado did it and abortions declined by 40%

Once a child is born it is suppose to get a job and support itself thus they don't need to care about it. And of course, if it in anyway burdens them they want to cut it off as a mooch who only wants to get their tax money...

What conservatives don't understand is that abortions happened before RvW and will still go on if it is repealed. The only thing they will have accomplished is that we stop counting--that and women will start dying again from botched procedures...

I'll let you conservatives dig up the STD rates--that's the area you seem to muck around in anyway. And I would think that a decline of 42% in abortions would make you conservatives smile. How is it when you are offered something that works for preventing abortions, something you guys say you are in favor of, the only thing you can think of are STD's?

Where are you getting your info that abortions have dropped by 42%? I'd like to see it.
