We always had weapons and a couple cops with us while we worked in town on Houston's rail. Harrisburg is the little Mexico with tour bus companies every block for miles. Both sides of the street.
North line is a mix of hoods all stirred together and Scott St., MLK and Griggs are so dark that if you're white you need to stick to U of H and their security or hang with Metro PD or HPD.
I love La Porte at 32,000 population but the Bay Port container terminal has increased warehousing and manufacturing. They're moving in here now, I'm looking at Schulenburg Texas now. Getting out soon, sex and the city just ain't my gig

I wouldnt give up the time I spent in Manhattan for anything, it was very exciting and so far removed from my experience at 19.
I learned alot, got scammed a couple times. I developed the don't mess with me walk and stance, so vital to move through the city without molestation. I went to museums and great restaurants, got drunk with a bunch of fireman, dated a boy from Dublin, had dinner at the
top of The World Trade Center, took my Mother on a cruise around Ellis Island, did a little modeling. Then I went home, knowing I never wanted to live there again. I could breathe again. Its better in the woods.
