Hey there Texasdude! I'm a 68 year old female, been working since I was old enough to set in a saddle and follow my daddy. I don't think I really did that much work, but I keep his ears busy! I guess this makes me an asshole too because I pretty much agree with you. I do wear earring, big sparklleeee, silver, turquoise and lots of rings!!! I don't know when it changed. We were young and busy working and raising our children and it just seemed to change very quickly! I really hate to see dishonesty treated so nonchalantly. The hate and disrespect in the younger ones seems to be continually getting worse, but that is exactly what the Bible says will happen the closer that we get to end times. I'm mostly a reader of OPP, but welcome from just a reader!! Good luck👍Give um hell!!

"We" were seduced into gratifying the lust of the flesh (self-explanatory), and into worldly acquisition, new refrigerators, bigger homes, two late models of Detroit's finest in every drive-way, requiring all adults working, thus, children raised by sit-ins rather than parents, because we had to keep up.

"We" forsook the God of our fathers as "We" allowed ourselves to be shamed into a new all pervasive definition of tolerance, interfaith services and multiculturalism.

In with the new, and out with the old, - including the knowledge of Scripture, and adherence to Godly commandments, values and virtues.

During our lifetimes, we have allowed our world as "we" knew it to be turned upside down and backward.

But, most of us have automatic coffeemakers, central air conditioning, computerized smart phones, computer notebooks, computer tablets
talking home security systems, and pool table size TVs on which to immerse ourselves in pornography.

How blessed are "we"!!!

The absolute worst thing we allowed to happen was the deliberate take over of our public schools by godless, lowlife, self-serving sexual perverts whose goal was a godless, hedonistic nation of uneducated pleasure seekers, lacking any knowledge of or belief in either absolute truth or Biblical values.

...and here we are; we are awake, and deeply concerned for our adult children and grandchildren, and hopefully all on our knees before the God of the Universe, who tried to give us eternal salvation, wisdom and direction through Jesus Christ, and His indwelling Holy Spirit.

"We" are now too sophisticated to entertain that old fashioned gospel, or the concept of national repentance as in ancient Nineveh, by which God allowed their nation to exist for additional decades!

Instead, "We" are futilely seeking our own way out.

SWMBO and I do not fit that mold. We have no TV, grow our own produce which we trade to the neighbor for fresh eggs, and, unfortunately do not have kids. We have a large family of kids that we have worked with as they learned how to get past a childhood of abuse and they are now "our boys" Our alarm system barks at trespassers (for some reason 2 150 pound dogs seem to discourage trespassers) still practice at our own target range as often as possible, go to church every Sunday help deliver the local extra food to those who need it, and have had a number of people we did not know at the time stay with us while their furnaces water pumps or flooding was being repaired. In other words we are typical country folk who are Christians and proud of it.
