When diversity cost lives.

Mpls prides itself on diversity of culture. As most people have heard about the somali cop that killed the australian woman, where does the killing end? I support LE fully, I even have a cousin who is a Sgt in the 4th precinct downtown Mpls. Now the cops are saying they feared an ambush-by who? A woman in pajamas with a cell phone? This does not add up, and the fact that a somali officer who did NOT go thru the academy killed her makes me wonder. I am not in favor of the police chief who is a lesbian, just wondering how much does diversity cost and at who's expense, apparently Mpls, after the Castillo shooting last year doesn't get it.

Plus this officer had 3 complaints against him.He shouldnt have a gun. He shot her 3 times. This is ridiculous!!!!This so called cop gives all good cops a bad name.He should be charged with murder and sent back to Somalia

This just shows how terribly difficult it is to be a Street Cop and how difficult it is to screen and weed out unfit applicants. All it takes is one bad cop to make it difficult for an entire department. if you think their job isn't difficult, do a ride-along and put yourself in their place for just one day; then imagine how difficult their job is day after day after day. We expect them to be everything for everyone without ever making an error. However, this doesn't excuse the cover-ups and blue wall of silence. The buck stop at the top and that's where we should demand accountability begins.

It was another program, forgot what they called it, he had no criminal justice background or degree, he had a business degree.

It’s the last job I would want, never the less, this seems like a case of a trigger happy individual or a Rambo wannabe, and who in their right mind fires their weapon in the face of their partner. Where's BLM now, she wasn't black, so no big deal?

So where is the outrage, the protests????? If this had been a white cop shooting a black or brown woman, Minneapolis would be a disaster with protests. No matter who or what that cop is they never made him go to the Academy???? WTH!!!

No Muslim should ever be a police officer until they can prove that they have assimilated and for me that would include eating a bacon sandwich not once but daily. I don't trust them and there Quran and their other holy books that teach them to lie to us in order to achieve a caliphate.
