If you'll recall the spectacle that shuck shumer put up regarding Justice Gorsuch's confirmation hearing, you'll no doubt recall shumer saying that he wasn't going to stand for Justice Gorsuch's confirmation in response to what the Republicans had done to Merrick Garland. What shumer failed to state was that Joe Biden and he, shumer, had stalled Judge Bork's nomination several years previously with the statement that Bork's nomination should be held up until the final year of the Republican presidents term had expired. And they did. Along comes Garland, in obama's final year and the Republicans said whats sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. And they held up Garlands nomination until the next president's term. The Dems raised the roof but since they were sure hillary would be elected, they couldn't complain too loudly. Then, hillary lost and the dems had a hissy fit because they couldn't nominate Garland and Trump named Gorsuch. Shumer was squealing like a mashed cat but harry boy reid's "nuclear response" duplicity screwed the dems out of defeating Gorsuch's nomination and confirmation. What goes around, comes around and we have a true conservative jewel sitting on the court. Thank GOD!

If you'll go back into the history of education in this country, you'll find that prior to obama's term, the nation was number #3 or 4 in the world in educational achievements.
