President Trump was left without a luxury hotel to stay at for the annual G-20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, this week after White House officials waited too long to book a hotel, Buzzfeed reported Thursday.

The U.S. initially sought to accommodate Trump in the local Four Seasons hotel, only to find it was already fully booked by Saudi Arabia’s King Salman, the report said. Other luxury hotels around Hamburg were similarly booked up by other key figures.

Trump will reportedly stay at Hamburg's Senate guesthouse for the summit, with the U.S. Consulate General hosting his staff.
The Hotel Reichshof was taken by Vietnam’s delegation, Russian President Vladimir Putin is staying at the Park Hyatt and The Grand Elysée was booked by Chinese President Xi Jinping and Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni.

The main effect it will have is the rest of the world is now laughing at us, but they already were, so what's new?
Only thing to be careful of: like all bullies, Trump is mean when humiliated. So he may take it out on the first available victim. Watch news for that.

What would you be saying if he was staying at the Park Hyatt where President Putin along with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and South Korean leader Moon Jae-In or would you be more upset if he stayed or shared accommodations with the Saudi King....I am sure you would have plenty to say. But, being honest... more than 9,000 people are converging on Hamburg for this summit... there is bound to be shortages in accommodations. Many of the delegate's are having to "share." Turkish President Erdogan will stay at the Sofitel while UK Prime Minister Theresa May will stay in Le Meridien. France’s Emmanuel Macron and Norway’s Erna Solberg will stay at the Movenpick Hotel, while Chinese President Xi Jinping will bunk up with Italy’s Prime Minister at the Grand Elysee. Is their staff also inept, as you imply our President's staff are... or can you admit, there is just so many rooms, not enough to accommodate everyone.

Well now...dip stick. You really think your little story here about where Trump stays mean one damned thing? Idiots like YOU just run looking for what ever they can to make something out of NOTHING. Lets hope he does not say anything negative about a part of a meal...like the salad was not too good...because if he does...jerk faces like you will be reporting he is ordering all farmers to be shot at dawn for faulty lettuce....

You are some real sick crud....REAL sick...and I think you are here under more than one user name....Dr. Dross!

Lefties really need to distract from the greeting the Polish people gave to Trump.

You mean, there's no Trump properties there? I'm surprised he didn't insist on moving the meetings to a location where there WERE some Trump stuff, since his new business model is to syphon as much of Americas treasure into Trump Industry accounts as possible.

I find it interesting that he accepted accomodations where they could be found. His purpose was to attend the Summit meeting, not to wallow in luxury -- If he had wanted to do that he could have stayed in his own home which would have caused King Croesus to be jealous.

As far as the opinions of the other nations, I am sure they do not forget, which are the mendicants, and which one provides the largesse. They may enjoy a bit of schadenfreude but they wil not be stupid enough to voice it publicly.

Your aspersions are ridiculous, there is no evidence that any funneling of government moneys is going to
Trump industries or Trump Family members but there is a ton of such evidence for Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Bernie Sanders, Hillary and Bill Clinton, to mention just a few.

It is obvious that you are part of the rabid left which makes up asinine accusations whole cloth. We all knew Trump was no plaster Saint but we elected him because he stank far less than any of his contemporaries. He was the only candidate with a stated set of goals that was consistent with what the American people wanted for our country. He did not promise more of the same failed programs, more governmental controls, more taxes, more pseudo scientific ratholes, down which he would throw our money.

So far he has attempted to accomplish his goals and your accusations seem to be based on the fact that government employees stay in Trump Facilities. How many rooms do you suppose he has available and how much overcharge can you identify? Those employees would be staying someplace and if not Trump facilities they will stay in some other and the cost would be the same. If these employees are generating travel requirements to keep Trump's facilitiies full then where is the evidence and charges against the departments doing this useless travel?

You want to shut that off? Get a law passed forbidding travel by any federal employees other than Cabinet level individuals. No hair dressers, no dog walkers and groomers, no valets, cooks, maids, secretaries and definitely no reporters, let them all pay their own way.

What treasure?
Obama already spent it all, and all of our children's too.
20 trillion in debt, he should be happy he's not staying at a Super 8
