Oh what a tangled web we weaveâ¦! Itâs gotten really hard, maybe impossible, to know who to trust anymore.  Who to believeâ¦.
Former FBI Director, Jim Comey, says one thing. Â Former Department of Homeland Security Secretary, Jeh Johnson, says another. Â Former DNC Chairperson, Debbie Wasserman Schultz says yet another. Â Who are the American people supposed to trust anymore?
Wasserman Schultz now states that the FBI never contacted her, while she was Chairperson of the DNC, to tell her that the Russians had hacked the DNC.
What? âAt no point during my tenure at the DNC did anyone from the FBI or any other government agency contact or communicate with me about Russian intrusion on the DNC network. It is astounding to me that the chair of an organization like the DNC was never contacted by the FBI or any other agency concerned about these intrusions.â
Jeh Johnsonâs story, however, which he shared this week in testimony to the House Intelligence Committee, is that the DNC said it didnât need DHS help with the Russian hacking.  He further testified that it was his understanding that the FBI had spoken to the DNC, which said it would use a private firm to deal with the hackingWasserman Schultz pointed out that âback in March, former FBI Director Jim Comey testified that he wished he had personally done more to notify the DNC of the Russian intrusion.â You mean like telling the Chairperson?!
My head is spinning with all the lies swirling around in Washington. Everyone is in CYA mode. Â I think one of the best things President Trump has done for America is that he has woken us up. Â He has caused regular Americans to start paying attention. Â From both parties.

The FBI contacted the IT person about hacking not the chairperson of the DNC. The DNC hired people to handle the server problem rather than have government workers in all their business. The FBI did drop the ball by not following up on the hack.
