Do you like grilled cheese sandwiches? Well, instead of using ham, try replacing it with bacon. Or just add the ham to the bacon. Because everything is better with bacon.

Do you fry the bacon first before putting it on the cheese and then fry them both together after that?

What a great idea. I love the bacon and I love grilled cheese sandwiches. It will be more work and messier to cook the bacon, but I don't care...I'll cook the bacon first then fry the bread in the bacon grease!

I fry the bacon first, then I grill that and the cheese on ciabatta bread. I don't use sliced or processed cheese. I like mine with shredded cheddar jack. Delicious!

Ham and cheese, or bacon and cheese, or whatever and cheese all fall under the classification cheesius grillus. They all have cheese. It's simply a matter of what you like with that cheese.

Mr B, you and my son could be fast friends. He says bacon is one of the major food groups. He has enjoyed bacon mayonnaise and bacon ice cream.

Nope, never saw it anywhere. I'll keep my eyes pealed. Had a hankering for a BLT yesterday and go one to go from Dennys. Lot and lots of bacon.

I like yellow mustard and raw onions with mine but can do ham, ham and bacon or bacon or just cheese, onions and yellow mustard. A grilled cheese sandwich is good anyway you slice it. Mike
