Are they really our friends?

MOSCOW — Russia on Monday angrily condemned the downing of a Syrian aircraft by a U.S. fighter as a “flagrant violation of international law,” and said its forces will treat U.S.-led coalition aircraft and drones as targets if they are operating in Syrian airspace west of the Euphrates while Russian aviation is on combat missions.

The Russian Defense Ministry also said it is suspending an agreement to minimize the risk of in-flight incidents between Russian and U.S.-led coalition aircraft operating over Syria.

Also on Monday, a senior Russian diplomat warned that the downing of the Syrian jet was “yet another step in a direct and dangerous escalation.”

In Moscow, officials argued that Sunday’s shoot-down was intended as a message aimed squarely at them.

Franz Klintsevich, deputy head of the defense and security committee of the Russian upper house of parliament, called the incident “an aggression and a provocation” directed at Russia.

“It looks like Donald Trump’s United States is a source of a brand-new danger both in the Middle East and the world at large,” Klintsevich wrote on his Facebook page.

Another member of the upper house, Alexei Pushkov, tweeted that the incident was “a new act of war” against the Syrian government.

Meanwhile...Putin said last week that Syria has proven to be a useful testing ground for advanced Russian weapons systems.

“It has done enormous good for our defense industry,” Putin told Russians in his annual televised call-in show. “I can say that the experience our armed forces have gained under combat conditions, especially with the use of cutting-edge weapons, is invaluable.”

No they are not our friends.

And this proves that the conspiracies in regard to Trump and the Russians are lies concocted by the left in retaliation to losing the election.

The Syrian aircraft was shot down with Trump's approval.

And the threats made in response by the Russians were approved by Putin.

We are at war and the Russians are but only one of our many enemies.

Our worst enemies are living right next door to us throughout America.

Any American citizen who desires to remain free and preserve the sovereignty of this nation, had better learn just exactly who and where the enemy dwells and be prepared to act in defense of this country.

Yes I agree they aren't our friends...two faced, but expanding the military...more wars? Being the worlds police...where's that money coming from? As more tax cuts are planned for the wealthy. This is where we got into debt to begin with, non funded wars.

Just remember...this was a Syrian acft, not Russsian. I seriously doubt the Russians will SAM-shoot down a USAF/USN acft . They know the dangers of an escalation...IMO. Yes, there will be considerable blustering and posturing by them...they may send their Bear bombers closer to Alaskan waters or mess w/ us in the Baltic, but nothing serious. What they might do--and I said, "might"...is to put a rein on sorties by the SAF. We'll all have to wait and see...won't we?

Putin wants us to believe they are our allies to get Isis but as long as Russia has it's alliance is with Assad, than they are not allies with us. Putin has Syria, he's going for Iraq. Muslims are flooding out of the Middle East, to stop this new mass exodus of Muslims we need to stabilize and rebuild over there. We need to have the people want to stay in their own homeland. But could this be the long term agenda of Putin to claim and reorganize under Russia, one country after the other. Just asking...

Couple of points here.

Taking out Assad would be even more destabilizing than taking out Saddam was.

We support rebels who have a common goal with ISIS and are just as radical.

As long as we are supporting those rebels and are trying to overthrow Assad, the region will suffer and become even more unstable. Russia will not accept our efforts to overthrow Assad because they believe the Rebels and ISIS are the ones who have gassed Syrian civilians, not Assad.

Keep in mind that much of ISIS gear and equipment came from us through the rebels. Keep in mind that there is an ongoing investigation into the false reports from the region hiding our lack of success against ISIS. We have been misled.

Unless we figure this out we have no hope in the region and Russia will push back against our efforts.
