An Obama-era immigration program intended to protect parents of U.S. citizens and legal residents from deportation has been formally canceled, fulfilling a key campaign promise from President Trump, the Homeland Security Department announced late Thursday.

Homeland Security John Kelly formally revoked a policy memo that created the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans program. The revocation came on the fifth anniversary of another effort that has protected hundreds of thousands of young immigrants from deportation.

It also leaves the kids out of it though. The left will say what happens to the kids if the parents get deported? Well, they would go with the parents that came here illegally of course. Then they will say thats not fair or humane RIGHT? Well the counter argument is simply, the left is so concerned about splitting up the families then the kids sould go with them right? The fricken parents that came here illegally fro the most part are burdens on the economy as the welfare rolls have indicated. If you may have read recently the illegals are dropping from the food stamp rolls in massive numbers for fear of being caught which proves the point they are burdens.
