I got 55 out of 63. Would have scored a little better if my "Alien Hand Syndrome" didn't kick in!

53 out of 63, I had to guess on a lot of them and three or four had obvious clues, like a name or initial.

I just ried running the quiz without answering any guesses but it won't score you unless you answer all. I noted in the comments, that some people got 62 out of 63 correct. They spent entirely too much of their lives in front of the TV.

Too much time with the television and not enough time chasing fireflies, frogs, and on the old tire swing! Getting everyone to play a baseball game with "X" to mark the bases, tag you are it.... Red Rover.... and all those games we played as kids after our chores were done!

One of the first things I did after moving into my home in 1977 was to put up a tire swing for my four kids. A neighbor gave me an old, large, truck tire from one of his vehicles and I used some 1 inch nylon rope I bought at a yard sale to hang the swing. I mounted the tire horizontally from three eye bolts, which I drove through the tire wall and bolted with pieces of angle iron to spread the pull. I hung the swing from a huge oak tree limb.. The swing was the hit of the neighborhood, all of the kids were on it and I counted five sitting on it at one time. That and the tetherball pole were the big draws.

You know that I live on a farm... and it has been in the family for as long as our nation ...... well, we have a river that runs down one side of the back 40... horse trails take you to the sweet spot, a swimming hole. On a tree that has been there as long as I can remember hangs a rope (nothing safe about it) which gives a perfect swing into the deep end of the hole..... summer, it is standing room only for kids! Yes, even I get into the action, taking me back to when I would ride Charlie (that was the plow horse that I simply loved) down there when nights were hot and a swim was the only thing I could think of. I tell you, my life has been absolutely blessed from childhood with strict but loving parents to now my older years with grand children of my own.
