No diabetic conditions allowed.. I improvise to be sure you stay healthy..You know, applesauce in place of oil, do have to use two eggs and I grease the pan with real butter instead of oil too.. Adds just a hint of the rich buttery flavor and I don't use frostings cuz they have too much sugar and sodium.. if I do I make my own with low fat cream cheese, a tad of vanilla , and

Try this experiment...it is simple and might open your eye.
1...Place your arm straight out in front of you.
2...Have a friend gently press downward on your wrist, gradually increasing force while you lock your arm in position. Do this all gently and stop if your arm starts to give way.
3...If the arm gives way almost immediately, take a bite of an organic something and chew it, but don't swallow,(something = apple, orange, banana, etc) and re-test as in #2 above.
4...If you arm stayed strong in #2, take a Non-organic fruit or vegatable the same as you tested before (in other words if you chewed a bite of organic banana, chew a bite of non organic banana) and re-test as in #2.
Let us know what happened, if anything, OK?

Anmals are no different on farms as told to me by a friend who was not a farmer but did experiment with growing organic vs conventional veggies and fruits.. No difference at all they told me..
I've always been suspect of the claims but feel I'm eating healthier when it's organic.. Now my eggs I get are as fresh as can be given I get them from someone who does raise free roaming chickens and only one type of feed. .. again, preference.. I do know my fresh veggies grown especially tomatoes definely taste better but again other than what I add in my soul for fertilizer etc it's still coming out of the round and has been rained on etc..
On the whole it's like climate change, a quick dollar to be fleeced...jumbo...

I think the better taste has a lot more with letting produce ripen on the vine as opposed to picking it green and letting it ripen during transport.

I do agree with not picking until ripe..For my little gardens that's what I do~~ it's worth the wait of a couple days more..
I guess that's hard to do when a commercial grower.. Most likely would go bad before even delivered??

I found out definitively when I moved to Arizona. In Canandaigua, N.Y., oranges were good but a fresh one off the tree in Arizona is Amazingly better. Same thing with eggs. Fresh eggs warm from a chicken are noticeably better than the ones purchased at the store.

Having lived in Florida, orange trees were common and plentiful!! Nothing better than fresh squeezed OJ!!!
Same with grapefruit too...
Eggs fresh from day to day always so much better.. Ever had blue or green eggs?? Now those are by far the best!!! Is it breakfast time yet????

Never had anything except white and brown eggs. I have never seen any other colors for sale. Healthfood store?

I get them from a farmer who had the chicken called the Easter Chicken, not its real name .. They can produce different colors based on their feed from what I understand... All I know is they are light, and taste amazing...
This may help, I wanted you to see the blue color.. I've also had the green color and I really could not tell much of a difference..
