Pope Francis told president Trump "Christians don't build walls".

So who built the "walled city" of the Vatican?

Pope Francis, tear down "that wall"?

Furthermore the pearly gates are on a fence in Heaven to keep out some Baptist,Methodist,Presbyterians, all Mormans.all Jehovah Witnesses, all Muslims and many many more. So if it's good enough for God, it's good enough for America.

Well, it is clearly a case of one set of rules for us, and a different set for You.

Let he without walls, cast the first stone?

I guess Obama has a different set of rules too. He's putting ups pretty good wall around his house.

The Pope is not recommending taking in all refugees indiscriminately. Refugees now are vetted for up to two years before they are allowed to enter the US. The wall between US and Mexico already exists where feasible. Some of the border is in the middle of the Rio Grande River; some cut some peoples farms in half. What's to prevent people from digging tunnels under the wall or coming in by boat. What we need is a sensible immigration policy that states and employers buy into.

Actually, we already have good immigration laws they're just not good enough for the Marxist progressive party that wants a larger base of voting slaves.

Vatican City is huge, Gat. How many non-assimilating, un-vetted, un-documented refugee/terrorists did you say Pope Francis took-in??? Hummmmmmmmmm. Huge, high, thick walls, and specially selected native {armed?} guards? Hummmm, again. You don't suppose Pope Francis is just another "hypocrite/lefty," hiding-out in another "gated community," do you???

Built in 840AD to keep Muslims out.

In some countries, it is impossible to vet the rats. Libya, for example. There one day and bombing a stadium 5 days later.

We have a sensible immigration policy and law that Obama not only ignored but violated for 8 years.

Our policies are irrelevant to aliens entering America against our law. Immigration has rules but not only did Obama allow loads of mid eastern here without your 2 years of vetting, our government repeatedly admitted these immigrants were not and could not be properly vetted. And none of this addresses the wall. The wall is not to stop immigrants. It is to stop illegals.

Good point! Who told that gnome he was a Christian anyway?

Of course the Pope wants us to accept them. It would reduce the number he has to deal with.

And technically, and I know I'll take heat for this, but technically according to mainstream Christianity, Catholicism is not Christian.

I don't know how many walls Christians have built, but, I know a bunch of liberals in Hollywood that live in walled and gated communities. Seems to me that Florida has it's share as well.

Apparently walls are good for thee, but, not for thou.

Don't get dragged into a war between the different sects of Christianity.

Each sect thinks that theirs is the true one.

If your following Christ, you are a Christian.

By sensible, do you mean enforcing the laws on the books? That "sensible" solution is one that Obama not only ignored, but sued to prevent. Shortly thereafter thousands of illegal flooded our country, many of them criminals, who after they were arrested, Obama released thousands of them into American communities. That doesn't seem very sensible

Remember the high wall Hillary built around her new estate in NY? The one she charges $10K/month to the government to house her federally provided security.
