Well, we all are aware of the extreme honesty of Obama and Hillary....and don't forget Hillary's husband too...we all know what honest man he is too....yep, pure as the driven snow those people are...

What does the honesty or lack of honesty of Obama or the Clintons have to do with my question?

An excellent post, but I am only the second one to appreciate it.

The other posters seem to actually believe that Trump has made no mistakes. (Every human has made mistakes.) He is a genius at making a fool of himself.

Trump is 100% correct. The lamestream media have gone after him with a ferocity that has never before been seen in the history of man. And the Democrats are besides themselves now that a Mueller has been appointed to investigate the non-existent Russia connection. Remember, Comey himself testified in May before Congress that nobody in the Trump administration had exerted any pressure on the FBI to stop any investigations. Yet Comey now says that Trump pressured him in February.
This inquiry is the proverbial tempest in a teapot. It's already a foregone conclusion - Russia had nothing to do with Hillary losing. It's the way the Democrats' way of diverting attention from a failed candidate's humiliating loss to a political neophyte.
But when real scandals were all around us, Benghazi, IRS investigations, Fast and Furious, etc., where were the special investigators? Nowhere to be found.

Walt-believe Comey is between a rock and a hard place. Ipn and his ilk appear to be liberal shills who have joined the hard left in their attempt to bring Trump down. The appointment of Mueller is good for Trump because it removes the focus from the Senate and the House and places it on the new SP who will ultimately not find any Trump/Russia collusion. Meanwhile the SP can delve into the real crimes of which there are several in evidence.

The only way this will blow up in my face is for Trump to be impeached and for Pence to become president. I shutter at the thought!

It's already blowing up. You forget that when you open the door, the traffic can move both directions. Every time you libprogs start yelling investigation, what you do is give the green light to looking into your corription.

You really must get away from your lib websites. All they give is is what they want you to know and leave out the parts that are bad for your side. You live in the dark. Grope around and find the light switch.

You can't impeach him now.
You are being foolish. Don't allow fake adrenaline control you.

You let your media make you feel in charge. You aren't. You have zero grounds for impeachment. All you can do is posture and let your imagination run wild.

Go back and look at the question he was asked, not the one you want to pretend was asked. Same for the context in which it was asked. He didn't lie at all. Why should he? All the reasons you dream up are yours, not his.

Now, another item. If lying was grounds for.impeachment, Obama wouldn't have made it out of 2009. Remember "you can choose your own Dr. Or you will save $2500/year"? How about "America is not a Christian nation"?

I didn't think so.

The sad part is when this current flap is shoved down your throat you will have learned nothing, and eagerly jump on the next "discredit Trump" bandwagon. You never learn.

I guess you figure you can't lose anything by trying. Wrong.

On Nov. 7, 2016 the democratic party was the biggest political party in America. On Nov. 9, 2016 you were number 3. Now you are barely hanging on to 3 and slipping toward #4. Every time you folks come up with a new angle to clobber Trump, the public sees it for what it is and you lose more members.

If you folks were half as bright as you think you are, you would not continue repeating the same member losing tactics that have cost you everything.

The fact is that you hope your continuous bombardment of everything Trump will eventually brain wash enough voters to win you seats. You try to build on the stupidity of the America public. Your problem is that the public is not stupid and the fact is that in today's age of the internet many people are well informed. Your liberal media has lost tremendous following. People now have access to more than 50 news information outlets and you have less than 10 of them in your pocket.

And you can scream for his tax returns all you want but you have no right to them so if he doesn't want to provide them, you don't get them.

You lose. Again.

A new report found that President Trump has received more hostile treatment from the mainstream media

than any other president in U.S. history.

According to the Media Research Center, 89 percent of broadcast networks' coverage of Trump has been negative.

Comey was nothing but an obama mole, the entire government is infested with them.

Firing every Obama appointee, and everyone hired by an Obama appointee, would be a good start in restoring Honesty in the government.

I was rather dismayed to see Trump use the Coast Guard Academy commencement address, to whine about himself, specifically, the unfair way the press and others are treating him. Not only are these self inflicted wounds, they're exaggerated as well. He went so far as to claim that he's been treated worse than any President in history, an exaggeration like the one where he had the largest electoral win of any President in history, or the largest inaugural crowd in history. It might have helped him if he'd actually read any of the history he's claiming to have exceeded, but that's another story.

I don't recall Trump having been accused of not being a natural born American, faking his college transcripts, or of being a Muslim, do you? Come to think of it, Trump himself is the originator of some of those accusations against the previous President. Is this Karma maybe? In any case, the striking thing, beyond the exaggeration, is that Trump is responsible for his wounds, and no one else - the press just has the audacity to repeat the stupid things he does and says. He has a staff of justifiers and explainers, doing their best to spin his lunacy, but within 24 hours, he undoes all their hard work with the next tweet or interview.

Perhaps, Trump is NOT involved with Russia, but the folks in his circle cannot make that claim, and only an idiot would not be aware of what his people were doing. That means, either Trump is a total idiot, or he's complicit, take your pick. Trump made the claim that he was elected to look out for the forgotten people, but his actions forgot all about them too, as all of his actions served himself and his corporate friends - and no one else. So, he's being treated unfairly - by the media pointing out his failures to keep his promises, repeating his outrageous claims, and giving a voice to all the lawmakers fed up with his foolishness.

Had he believed that the President should be respected and revered - he might have kept his mouth and his twitter account off of the Previous holder of that office. What goes around comes around, no? He can whine all he wants - but it was HE who shit in his own pool.

You can scream for tax returns all day long; there is absolutely no law that says he has to show them. Given the media's propensity for excoriating him for everything he does, or does not do, I cannot blame him. He could save a child from being run over on a busy street and he would be labeled a shameless jaywalker and menace to the safe flow of traffic.
