As for the losses..... It wasn't really losing stuff as much as getting rid of it. We donated, sold, and trashed an unimaginable amount of stuff. That's all it was. Stuff. We kept what is really sentimental, and special to us, and let the rest go. I had a hard time with my 30 plus years of hoarded man stuff, but most of it is gone too.

You ask tough questions of me.
She will NEVER be finished decorating/rearrang. She is a woman. If she tells me to hang something, I hang it. If she tells me to move it, I move it. I have no say.
I want a ceiling fan in the bedroom, and I hate the squiggly, pseudo fluorescent light bulbs everywhere. I'm replacing them with LEDs a couple at a time. Those are expensive, but they provide a better quality light, use less energy, and last forever.
Also.....the toilets are made for midgets. That will change too!
I will tell her for sure! br As for the losses...... (show quote)

Yes sirrrrrie, you are a new homeowner, being broken in just right~~lolololooll
Don't you feel better with all that clutter gone now??? ohh come on, just a bit?? lolololl

When I moved from Chicago I had a one week moving sale, went through and everything I didn't want I put a price on ot..didn't move anthing or make an area for the stuff, left right where it was..Worked perfectly, if it sold the area was cleared... At the end of the week I knew I had sold things I really wanted..lolo But I got caught up in it...lolol.Sure made it a lot easier than moving it .....spring cleaning for sure, just like you..

Toilets for midgets~~`lolololol Your next job that YOU want this time....good man!!
Glad to see you know we women never stop rearranging, or changing things around..I change color schemes and patterns with eash season..Its a must..
You sound like your having fun even though its all work, its fun kinda stuff...

If given the choice, I'd eat breakfast for every meal. Like you I don't go for quantity as I can't eat that much any more but do go for quality. I also like to cook, any meal. Mike

Woww, Mike, you do have a heavy breakfast menu there..I don't mean in fat content just a lot of food..Do you really eat a breakfst like that??
Mine is one egg, one piece of toast, 2 strips of bacon, somethimes, none, fried potatoes home made, and coffee. Good piping hot coffee...i'm not really a breakfast eater but on the weekends or traveling then I want it...

I'd cook it for you..How often do you have a breakfast like that??

Maybe once a week, or twice. Wednesday and Sundays.
Press pot coffee, coarse salt grind, filtered water, small pours.
I love food and wine and fine liqueurs.
It was my business for years, and now I apply those skills to life.
The trick is to remain as active as a five year old at a birthday party.
Eat, work, love. It's my job now.

Good for you Mikey. Hell man, we only live once and not for that long. When I was younger I could eat a lot, I'm going to be 67 in July and I just can't eat that much anymore. Probably because I'm not burning the same calories. BUT, I do love food. Mike

Just had something really delicious. Chicken fried bacon. It was a big, thick slab of tenderized bacon, with cheese stuffed fried grits and a bacon biscuit. My taste buds went crazy. I've never tasted anything so delicious. Hungry yet?

That sounds delicious!

All I had for dinner was a clam-bake.

Filtered water, Press pot coffee is the answer!! Nothing tastes better when you use the filtered water ...
Eating your breakfast only couple times a week must be it keeps you full in between the days you don't ...

That would look good if I liked clams. But I refuse to eat something that lives in its own bathroom.

Obviously you never lived by the sea. If you had, you would know that crustaceans have a neck that extends to expel any digested waste
using a jet of water to send it away from it's location. They do this to not pollute their environment and to prevent being discovered by
preying sea creatures that do like shell fish dinners. As you can see, it didn't prevent me from enjoying a clam dinner!

Do you know what a clam's purpose is? It sits there, 24/7, and filters crap out of the water. You go ahead and eat them. They're all yours.

I never thought of them being dirty coming right from the salt water!!! I love them all....

"Who'll have a fishy
On a little dishy?
Who will have a fishy
When the boat comes..."

And then he says
"With our glasses both raised in a toast
Let's sing for those in peril on the sea
Who cater ceaselessly
To thy every wish
With every fish
As fresh as fish can be
You see, I'm into my oysters
My king prawns and caviar
No matter how far away they are
I'll be there!"

And then she says,
"Now with our glasses both raised in this toast
Let's sing for those in peril on the sea
Who labour tirelessly
In their tiny boats
Off John O' Groats
Their socks soaked for me
You see, I do like my lobster
My hake, skate and rainbow trout
And if there's a fishy smell about
I'll be there! And then
And then we'll sing for those in peril on the sea

Don't be frightened
Don't be scared
Chop off their heads
And little legs
Then peel away the shell
And open up your senses to the smell
The sound and colour
Touch and taste

Of crab, cod, clams and kippers
Scampi, squid, sole, shark and scallop
Winkles, whelks, whale and whiting
Seaweed, swordfish, sardines and sea urchin

Haddock, halibut, herrings and eel
Cockles, mussels, mackerel and veal
Pilchard, plankton, St Peter's fish and plaice
Octopussy jellyfishy
And dolphin's an acquired taste

"Who will have a fishy
On a little dishy?
I will have a fishy
When the boat comes in." Lololol

Just thought I'd share~~ it's the words to a song...
