As soon as global warming kicks into high gear there will have to be a global authority to enforce measures that could save the planet. Just like London during the blitz blackout rules couldn't allow the local grocer to remain open with its lights showing for the sake of free enterprise.

On what do you base this belief? The Earth has warmed slightly more than one degree in the past one hundred years, and there has been no measurable warming on a world scale in the past ten. Two thousand years ago it was warmer than it is today, and there were no emissions to blame it on. There was more atmospheric CO2 during the last ICE AGE than there is now.

I've been accused of being an obnoxious troll because of my responses to people just like you.

So I'll try to be as kind and respectful as I can be this time.

So please Chocura, just take my word for it and believe me when I say that you have been misinformed on this subject and I suspect that the depth of your indoctrination is quite severe.

I'm gonna suggest that you take a break from politics, television and the news media for at least a full seven day week.

Take a road trip somewhere into the wilderness and get lost in the beauty of nature.

If you find that it pleases you, then do it as often as you posdibly can.

If you can wean yourself off of these worldly concerns of yours, you will discover that your time on earth should not be wasted on such vanities.

There are so many wonders to experience in this world.

Why are you ignoring them ?

The myth of global warming is robbing you of the opportunities to find contentment within our earthly paradise.

These one world government tyrants that have more money than they could ever spend and if they had one bit of humanity could end the world of hunger have always said what they needed was some global catastrophe to bring in their one world government. Global Warming... I mean Climate Change is just what they had in mind. It's what us normal people call Summer, Winter, Spring, and Fall. But we saw the number of useful idiots, 6 or 7 at a time at hillary rallies. That with the un-proved crap they teach the kids in school Mother Earth will become a god in the near future and these rich pieces of lawn decor will be the only way to save their god. As they must also be gods since the best we humans could do is nothing to save us from this gross illusion

How many times do I have to tell you that it's not global warming anymore? It's climate change now! Jeez! Get with the program!

My friend, there are so many good books out there that will tell you the truth regarding climate change. The leftist view is so wrong but people are buying it. You have probably bought the made-up story of the 97%, the hockey-stick graph, the rising sea levels and all that crap which is so bogus that it's impossible for a rational thinking person to fall for it. Ask yourself why the alarmists have to lie about their findings if they have good arguments. Do a little research on your own. If you need help, I can give you enough references to keep you busy for a long time as well as show you why this climate change is a myth. It's not a hoax, just a myth. Of course the climate is changing. It always have and it always will. There has been no warming for 20 yrs. The slow-down in warming could not have come at a worse time for the alarmists but they have come up with an explanation. Al Gore's polar bear story was proven to be false. So they dropped it and come up with the Antarctic was melting. That was also blown out of the water, so to speak. They are counting on people like you who will gobble their lies up to keep this charade going. When it comes right down to it, if the climate was warming as much as they say, which it isn't, it would be a good thing. Farming would be more productive and we could feed the people that they are worried about starving. Do not buy into this without studying it thoroughly on your own. Start off with looking into the 97% of scientists that believe in AGW. They have taken the scientists who say there might be some small percentage of warming caused in part by man's activities and said they are all in for total man-made warming. I have heard so many of the so-called 97% who have denied the warmists' claims but, no, the warmists won't let them say that. After you have studied the polar bear crisis, maybe the biggest lie of them all, check out Michael Mann's hockey stick theory (long ago proven wrong). As you have heard before, follow the money. These scientists will lose their funding if they don't back the alarmists' narrative. The warmists need this for their "One World" government. Obama has pushed this for 8 years and he is about as well-informed on the subject as my paper boy or my grandson. I could go on but just do your own study and let me know if you need any proof. They have none. Just climate models which they keep adjusting to make their farce seem plausible. It isn't and it won't be. Good luck.

There absolutely will be global governance, the justification is irrelevant. It's the thing the human mind craves.

I'll venture out on a different, bumpier road that no one else want's to go down. The cause of much of the worlds present and future troubles can be blamed on 'progress'. Progress in science, medicine and technology. Why? Because it has allowed people to live longer and multiply more rapidly. Thus we have over populated the planet with people who, in turn, place more demands for more of everything. The solution would be a considerable reduction of the earth's population then everything else would follow suite. I would suggest the entire continent of Africa and most of the middle and near east. Now before you holler 'racist', it's not about race. It's simply that the inhabitants of these area's main contribution to mankind is trouble and returning Africa to it's natural green state should go a long way to cleansing the atmosphere. I will now don my protective gear for the slings and arrows sure to follow.

No, I didn't. It would help if you'd hit the Quote/Reply button instead of just posting stuff without context.
