It's really starting to bother me the way people who should know better are promulgating these egregious lies and others are believing them. It's all good fun and games until someone gets hurt, and the line is being tested beyond the bounds of sanity. This needs to stop. Here's a good example:

The article was from TownHall.com. The original info came from DailyKos, but the guys at TownHall know what they're doing with this kind of thing, they deal with it all the time. Anyway, the upshot was that there was a rumor, started by 'anonymous operatives', that the AHCA just passed in the House defines rape as a 'preexisting condition'. There are many people who will take that on face value, and it's a bald-faced lie. That's the point.
