Planned Parenthood Protest

Maybe it is time for those of us who abhor abortion, to refuse to pay taxes which are being used to fund it. I think we sent
a pretty clear message, how about refusing to pay taxes that pay the losers that have ignored this message. Time they
remember, who works for who.

Your taxes do not cover abortions. Federal law says it will not pay for abortions.
Planned Parenthood health centers focus on prevention: 80 percent of our patients receive services to prevent unintended pregnancy.
They help prevent approximately 579,000 unintended pregnancies in a single year.
Planned Parenthood provides more than 270,000 Pap tests and more than 360,000 breast exams in a single year, critical services in detecting cancer.
Planned Parenthood provides more than 4.2 million tests and treatments for sexually transmitted infections, including more than 650,000 HIV tests.
Often this is the only Health service available in rural areas.

America is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Hyde Amendment—a federal law that bars taxpayer funding of abortion and has saved the lives of two million unborn babies, according to a report by the Charlotte Lozier Institute.

How shortsighted can one be? Whether objections are directed at Planned Parenthood, Department of Commerce, the Transportation Department, or even the Department of Defense, etc., if everyone refused to pay taxes due to displeasure as to how/where they were allocated by governmental officials, it would be catastrophic for our country. How taxes are spent is determined by individuals only through the ballot box. Elected officials make those determinations at every level of government, except possibly on bond issues presented as public referendums. But, as you say, those officials should be reminded as to who works for who.

BTW, abortions provided by Planned Parenthood are funded by individuals and/or private organizations.

It performs 323,999 abortions per year and recieves $500 million in federal funding. I am not actually saying not paying taxes is a viable option, but if we could..

From what I have read from various sources, Planned Parenthood does not use federal money for the abortion PROCEDURE but federal money is used for all things connected with the procedure. That includes anesthesia blood work up, X rays , the operating room and recovery services. Just another way of lying by fudging figures, if the dozen or so articles I have read are accurate. They may not be because they are not put out by Soros financed groups or the Huffington Post.

The catastrophe would be in government, not in the people. Were a 'government shutdown' not trumpeted from the rooftops, would you even notice? Think about it...

There are numerous ways to control abortions, the easiest is to use 'condoms' In the good old days it was 'rubbers' same thing. With a little more effort either you/he can get an operation, easier for the "shooter" that being the male of which they are the normally the 'aggressor' We live in an easy cum, easy go moral social order. Unless we clean up our act the problem will continue to be with us, bearing in mind that "morality is geography" and geographically we as a nation are amongst the worst.

Morality and responsibility is the furthest thing from the minds of the people who use planned parenthood. Many are poor, uneducated, and happy that uncle Sam pays the way. It will never stop. No one should be allowed to breed unless they have an income, acceptable IQ and other requirements. Maybe we should sterilize the breeders, seriously, look at the results of what is being born. It's a free for all and you are paying for it.

I kinda meant that feciously but I hear what you're saying. I really don't know how society can be corrected, seems as if it's
on a death spiral.

I'm guessing you meant 'facetiously'. 'Sall good. As for correcting 'society', I always figure it's more or less self-correcting. It'll get to the point of absurdity and something will happen to drag it back to some semblance of sanity again, always does.

Sorry about the spelling, usually dead on, brain fart or old age...as far as thinning the herd, who knows.
