I think so too...and I think all this fear is unnecessary as this whole time frame business is a bunch of bullshit. Most problems are best solved a bit at a time but we're facing monumental problems, mostly of our own making for letting things go this far. I told folks on the OPP that electing Trump was only the beginning.

BTW...what are the odds it gets announced that our embassy will move from Tel Aviv to when Trump visits Israel the day before the 50th anniversary of Jerusalem Day? I hear a Jordanian newspaper today had an article in it saying that Arabs had no reason to be upset if the US moved its embassy to Jerusalem and tomorrow Abbas goes to the WH. Very interesting!

It deeply troubles me that these Democrats, and enough Republicans, still want these Cadillac health insurance plans that cover every headache, hiccup and sniffle, with a myriad of paper shuffling bureaucrats and insurance agents running behind them with a roll of toilet paper. Health Savings Accounts and opening up interstate commerce would solve the cost of healthcare for 99% of us citizens. If Congress would just scrap the entire Obamacare and replace it with something practical, simple, and free us of worry, it is so doable through the Budget Reconciliation Act but they keep stalling. Absurd. Unnecessary.

Preexisting conditions are not that expensive, it is the cost of the bureaucracy between the patient and the doctor. Why does it cost Americans $150,000 for a heart bypass surgery at home and the same operation in India by US Indian trained doctors for $8,000? We have too many middle men on the medical gravy train. Honestly, have you ever heard of an insurance company downsizing? Lordy, if these congressmen would stop the political grandstanding and cut the drama!

All this trouble in the creation of Israel was exacerbated by the UN by not finishing the deal and helping all parties resettle. This is a land swapping that needs to be worked out by the Palestinians and the Israelis today, for the UN has lost its credibility, a club for dictators. There should be no problem with the US moving our embassy to Jerusalem. The real problem is the Iranians interfering with the Palestinians by backing HAMAS. If the Palestinians cannot get along, then they might consider moving to Libya, also created by the UN with no consent of the tribes.

Many good points. Wanting health insurance for small potatoes stuff like the sniffles has got to go. It's the nanny state run amuck. The cost of healthcare in the US compared to countries like India is another issue. Its based upon the attitudes of American doctors versus others, like the doctors of India. I've worked with both and can tell you, the Indian doctors see themselves as service personnel while many, but not all, most I'd say, American doctors see themselves as better or superior to the average man or woman. Many will deny this but it's the truth. I distance myself from that. We also have our healthcare system set up like a business which is being run by business people, which is fine, but they are looking to maximize profits, not improve healthcare.

To me, really, American healthcare is a bizarre mix of smart and stupid doctors. So much would be fixed if we had a single payer system, no offense to the conservatives, of which I am one.

As for political drama, that is also driven by profit and the lack of term limits. The media hypes things to drive viewers to their websites. Elected officials do it for attention and play up to the huge divide between the left and the right.

But, I digress.

The Europeans displaced the Jews to begin with in 70AD and they screwed the pooch again after WWI in so many ways I won't go into it, drawing borders and what not the way they did. Before and after WWII they sprouted feathers and didn't follow through on the Balfour Declaration. Then there was the Holocaust and all the confusion since. Still the Europeans think they're smart enough to run a world government. What hubris! What a mess!

nwtk2007, you write: "To me, really, American healthcare is a bizarre mix of smart and stupid doctors. So much would be fixed if we had a single payer system, no offense to the conservatives, of which I am one."

How could you call yourself a "conservative" when you advocate the Federal government take over 1/6th the entire US economy under the Public Option? This is one of the major stepping stones of Karl Marx to nationalizing the economy.

Just remember, when it comes to the Health Department, it is cheaper to kill us than cure us. For the 1% of truly handicapped and chronically ill, there is no point in putting the entire nation on welfare, an entire waste of labor and money. Healthcare is not an Entitlement; that does not mean it should not be affordable, but the free market forces, opening up interstate commerce, have not been in operation since 1945 when the McCarran-Fergusson Act was passed by FDR. This has to change.

Trump just negotiated a deal with Michigan Representative Fred Upton to increase welfare spending on that 1% chronically ill by $8billion dollars. That's just fine to have this safety net, but we all do not want a government nanny state for the other 99% of capable people. There are just too many bureaucrats and insurance agents between the patient and his doctor under the Public Option and Universal Care. It least, you still have some freedom to choose your doctor with legal recourse for malpractice in the private system. There is none of this with a government healthcare system. The lust for race purification, DNA selective breeding, and weeding out the weak is too great under government control.

Yes, so what else is new? There are some neo-Nazis worming their way into the Brussels bureaucracy at the EU, pretty creepy. Keep an eye on the French election this May.

Oey Veh! The very US government responsible for the covering up the disease and flooding the ghetto with drugs in the inner city are now going to cure it?
Totally Nuts. Like buying protection insurance from the Mafia.

The Bible specifically says that a world government will spring from the ashes of the Holy Roman Empire...also depicted in Nebuchadnezzar's vision as the statue with the "feet mixed with iron and clay". I won't go into it unless someone PMs me, but the point is what is happening now in Europe is that reincarnation...the 4 headed leopard (one head was wounded unto death but the wound healed and the world marveled in Revelation)...given dominion Daniel 7:6...and it's obvious who's been the driving force of Europe. The Germans, of course. The wounded head, the one that healed and the world marveled, was the Third Reich! We are now in the 4th Reich...the richest Reich...the 4th head of the leopard.

The First Reich, of course, was born on Christmas day 800 AD when Pope Leo (the third, I think) crowned Charlemagne, a German, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and it should be obvious to all that the current Pope, a Liberation Theologian, is pushing hard for this remarriage of church and state. I'm just saying. The Pope may feel he has no more choice in the matter than Trump and every other President has had in trying to make peace between the Palestinians and the Jews, but frankly and soberly, when church marries state in Europe, the idea will arise that there are "acceptable" expressions of religious faith and unacceptable ones.

BTW...whoever doubts me should know the EU headquarters in Belgium is in the Charlemagne Building. People who do the most for European "unity" are awarded the Charlemagne Prize...which includes a million bucks or so. They awarded it to Bill Clinton after our intervention in Bosnia...just so everyone knows.

The Economist magazine...the one Rothschild puts out...has a Charlemagne page. The Europeans know what they're doing.

Gorbachev said in his book, Perestroika, for peace to be achieved "religious exclusivity must be extirpated" and guess who met with the Pope and Gorbachev 22 days after the Berlin Wall fell? Oh yeah...George Bush 1st who talked about the "New World Order".

Watch the Interfaith Movement, which of course the Pope is balls-deep into!!!!

Watch! Once peace is achieved...once the agreement has these 4 issues addressed, we have 7 years before whatever happens happens.

1) Israel's right to exist (somewhere in) the Promised land is acknowledged...the Covenant is confirmed.

2) Judea and Samaria are given to the Palestinians

3) The Temple Mount is divided between Jews, Muslims and Christians...under UN supervision most likely.

4) The issue of Jerusalem will be put off until a later date (very important because Jerusalem is the one things the Jews will not give in on), probably 7 years, after which whatever government is calling the shots in Europe will use UN 2334 as an excuse to invade Israel,

This all sounds like a communist hijacking of Christianity after it hijacked Islam. It's not going down as you posted above.

1) Trump and the Brits are nationalists.
2) The European Union is falling apart since socialism is bankrupting them all.
3) The Jews in Israel are capitalists and have no intention of giving up a square inch of Israel to the Palestinians.
4) If there is to be a two state solution in the conflict, most likely land will be purchased from Jordan, Lebanon, Arabia, Egypt, or Libya for Palestinian development.
5) Putin and the Russians and Poland are also strong nationalists, and Christian, who figure heavily in the future of European Union breakup.

I think Pope Francis is a bit out of league with his own church, considering the long standing philosophy of Saint Joan of Ark on national sovereignty and national borders, nation-states as all part of God's plan.

We could have a long discussion about religion. I cannot see how anyone who reads the Old Testament on Natural Law, "man may rule over animals, but man may not rule over man, only God may rule over man, and the story of Genesis, Exodus, and Leviticus, celebrating the liberation from slavery, all these Books in the Bible contradict the slavery of socialism and communism, and individual submission to the State.

The communist and United Nations have a great vested interest in pitting the Children of Abraham against eachother to mock and destroy all religion.
