She is the utmost cutest DOG I have ever seen!

Brie was a name I had considered naming a daughter, if I were to have one. When faced with the reality, Elsa and Lily were the two I came up with to name her. Elsa seemed old
but beautiful. I knew by tri-point I wanted her initials to spell LAMB and only needed the M to complete. Nor did I get sick of saying "Lily" by the time she was born.

However, the angst it caused me upon her birth, to not go the "traditional" route, not being married to her dad, for a "father" he is not, nor "daddy" either, decidedly. This would have annihilated my goal with an R. Deep angst this caused me nonetheless.

Until one of my nurses asked me an exceedingly simple question, "What name would you regret the least?" My gratitude runs deep!!!

I ended up naming a cat Elsa. She had the coat of a Chinchilla, a vet told me once, and she had green eyes. She was gorgeous but always wanton something, mainly petting. She would move my hand into position to pet. My stopping simply wasn't an option, for her. She was a pain in the...but oh so gorgeous!

I miss our two cats, Gabriel and Elsa. But not so much the 25-30 cats, inside and out, for 5-7 years that we had at one time. One day Lily asked for her 3rd can of tuna, I said, "Yes, but what else are you feeding?" I had probably sensed her going in and out of the house.

She told me the people up the street had moved and abandoned a mother with two kittens. I had the mother fixed, but the kittens were wild. Lily was able to catch each only once. Well, one litter out in the shed later and it was over for me, I couldn't stop the maddness!!!

In my observation, of all the cats that were produced, the Calico is a very smart cat!

At about age 5, Lily, inherently animal friendly, brought me a dead bird hanging off a stick wanting to help it. At a few years older, she rescued a live bird out of a strange dog's mouth that was in the vicinity, anyway. of our backyard. Strange dog to me, Lily knew all the dogs within her "boundary" radius, if not the entire town. We took the bird to the wildlife refugee not far from were we lived. It didn't survive be the night.

This from a child who's mother FREAK'S OUT when her own cat brings a "live" gift to the door. If the gift is dead, I only dread cleanup!
