If you quote Trump's exact words in context, is it fake news or alternative fact?

Lying is a lifelong and ingrained habit for Orange Little Fingers.

A whopping 70 percent of Trump’s statements that PolitiFact checked during the campaign were false, while only 4 percent were completely true, and 11 percent mostly true. (Compare that to the politician Trump dubbed “crooked,” Hillary Clinton: Just 26 percent of her statements were deemed false.) But this does not seem to matter to his captured followers, who do not even try to defend his indefensible and brazen falsehoods but simply resort to insult and personal attacks at the sake of truth. (The Right will not respond rationally or intelligently to the statements in the above paragraph with any research or questions but just call Politifact a commie organization owned and controlled by Soros and think they have scored points, not reality points but partisan points.)

"His supporters may not believe everything he says — in fact, they often say they don’t even think he believes everything he says. They assume that he’s not going to do all the things he promises; the assumption that Trump is a liar is priced into their support of him. The literal things he says matter less to them as facts than as signals that he’s on their side. (Letting their fear and hate flow freely from the president's mouth does not need messy things like facts or proof.)

"We are looking at an existential threat to a key principle of democratic discourse: People can only debate and persuade each other if they agree on the basic facts of the world around them. They are entitled to their own opinions but not entitled to their own facts. (The refusal on the Right to see or even care about truth or the disgraceful words and actions of Trump will erode this nation.)

"Every single time Donald Trump lies, that principle gets a little shakier and harder to maintain.

"Politics isn’t poetry. A statement that is facially false but that hits at an emotional truth is still facially false. And it makes it all the harder for people who respond to the emotional truth to talk to those who don’t — they have no shared basis on which to discuss.

"Shared facts should be the bedrock of democracy; Trump is turning it into a Jenga tower."

Here a few sites the Right will avoid like they are poison but do not even begin to encompass all the deceptions and damage done by this amoral creep who has tarnished the American image worldwide.

What does the Dr. stand for in front of your name?

Anyway, it's difficult to search for truth in news these days when the agenda is very clear from the medias liberal slanted reporting. The "Politi facts" was started by the Democratic positioned Tampa Tribune and its staff. The slant will be left, the same set of facts can be tailored to fit any belief or preconceived belief. So, it's like, a battle you can't win.

The problem you try to convey about the "Orange Little Fingers" is from a blind side, not viewing 360 deg's. using both left and right. It's exactly like your preconceived view of Trump and the right.

I just read a book by Lyle H. Rossiter, Here is just an excerpt " The radical left’s efforts to regulate the people from cradle to grave. To rescue us from our troubled lives, the liberal agenda recommends denial of personal responsibility, encourages self-pity and other-pity, fosters government dependency, promotes sexual indulgence, rationalizes violence, excuses financial obligation, justifies theft, ignores rudeness, prescribes complaining and blaming, denigrates marriage and the family, legalizes all abortion, defies religious and social tradition, declares inequality unjust, and rebels against the duties of citizenship. Through multiple entitlements to unearned goods, services and social status, the liberal politician promises to ensure everyone’s material welfare, provide for everyone’s healthcare, protect everyone’s self-esteem, correct everyone’s social and political disadvantage, educate every citizen, and eliminate all class distinctions. "

That pretty well puts things in your goody basket to discuss. That is, if you want to dismiss your Trump angst, your aversions to his position.

What does the Dr. stand for in front of your name?... (show quote)

When a genocide is contemplated, as in Nazi Germany, the scapegoat is always affixed with the worst human tendencies. Mr. Rossiter wants to create a sub-human creature for whom no pity or empathy or communication is possible. The gross hyperbole should have been a clue, like the poster who uses only capital letters to express himself. He gives the radical left every possible sin imaginable as their basic character. Demons, really, without any grace or redeemable character. Classic genocide propaganda.

It is not angst toward Trump but specific disgust at who he is. I do not have an aversion to his positions, like for bees or poison ivy, but an opposition to his positions based on principles and common sense.

First question: always. Second question: I answer openly and clearly with reasonable arguments and fact-based support. Any more questions? You should know this to be true if you know I have been around for a while.
