We already knew this, but it’s nice to have the numbers to back it up.

According to its report “Rich States, Poor States,” the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) has concluded that states with more Democrats in control have poorer economic performance than other states under Republican control.

ALEC released the following chart showing the top ten and bottom ten states:

The difference between a red state and a blue state is in a blue state you can get a good job and have a high standard of living . In a red state you would need two jobs and you still wouldn't make as much.

You are even more delusional and uneducated than I originally thought. Please go do some REAL research so you don't sound so ignorant and uninformed. Please.

????????? No, not necessarily....depends on your profession, cost of living, and tax rates in your state. But, for you to claim that Blue states pay more than red states, you mention nothing about cost of living, professions, and taxes. BTW, there are now only five states whom are completely run by the Democrats, thanks to the massive losses, nationally, and state wide in the past several elections....hmmmm, you think maybe the people got fed up with Democrat control?

?????? That recession was caused by the housing bubble popping. And, that bubble was created by the Democrats. It started under Carter, and expanded under Clinton. In 2004 the Republicans tried to rein in Freddie Mac and Fanny Mae but were stopped by the Democrats. For Christ sake do some real research will you? BTW, Reagan inherited a worse recession than Obama did. Reagan inherited double digit inflation, double digit unemployment, double digit interest rates, a severely depleted military, the Iranian hostage situation, gas lines and rationing, etc.. But, he, unlike Obama, brought back the economy with unprecedented gains in GDP, and economic growth for the next 25 years.

Reagan didn't bury us in debt, but your boy Obama ran up more debt than ALL PREVIOUS presidents combined! Go back and research why Reagan had to increase the debt, and it was NOT all created by him. The House was run by Tip O'Neal and the Democrats, and in order for Reagan to get the money to rebuild the military (severely depleted by Carter) he had to strike a deal with Tip O'Neal. In order to get the money request through the House, Tip got whatever he wanted to spend on domestic and entitlement programs. So, that debt, a fourth of what Obama ran up, was a joint effort by the Republicans and Democrats.

You say Republicans like to start wars. Who got us in: WWI? WWII? Korea? Vietnam? A Republican did get us into Iraq and Afghanistan, and Obama pulled out of Iraq without a Status of Forces Agreement which allowed ISIS to move in, and he still stayed in Afghanistan....in which by his imposing very restrictive ROEs, has got more troops killed than under Bush. Yea, tell me about the Republicans always wanting to go to war.

Earth, but I have to question what planet do you spend most of your time on? clinton bailed us out of Reagan's debt bush buried us again????????????????????? You couldn't be more wrong. Reagan pulled us out of the Carter recession and rebuilt the military. Clinton lied about the economy and rode in on Bush's and Reagan's economic coat tails. Clinton was lucky in that the Dot Com bubble and a Republican House saved his ass. Bush II did increase the debt, but no where even close to what Obama did, which is double the national debt in just eight years.

Go back to school and take some econ courses, because you are clueless.
