Works of flesh

The scriptural reference is Galatians 5:19 - 21. If you don’t use your higher intellect you will make emotional and short sighted decisions. We should mature. When you first grow up you want to have sex with anyone who is willing. The idea that we should be selective when choosing a lover is rather constrictive. We don’t like being treated like children, even when we are children. But we need to answer some questions before we have sex. Are either one of you married to someone else? Is the person disease free? What if pregnancy occurs? If you have sex with a person and calamity occurs it can be devastating. The boundaries of the spirit of God are set by the word of God. In John 6:63 Jesus says the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life. John puts word and spirit on the same level in 1 John 5:7. If you use your higher intellect, you will take your time and not make emotional decisions, Those that commit these acts will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Adultery - If you are married, you should not have sex with anyone but your spouse. God came to this planet and wrote with His finger in stone, “Do not commit adultery”.
Fornication - This is sex between two unmarried people. I believe 1 Corinthians 7:36 means you can have sex with your fiancé. It is not a good idea to have sex with strangers. Read 1 Corinthians 6:18
Uncleanness - Self explanatory. We should choose to be clean and decent.
Lasciviousness - The Greek translation denotes an absence of restraint, a state of indecency, or presence of wickedness. There is a line we should not cross an acts we should not commit. We should not make feeling good our highest priority.
Idolatry - Those who worship idols were really worshipping devils. 1 Corinthians 10:20 The first commandment forbids putting idols on the same level with God.
Witchcraft - This word is also translated sorcery. This is the Greek word pharmakeia from which we get pharmacy. Those who use drugs to feel good will not inherit the kingdom of God. They won’t amount to much in this life either.
Hatred - Christ commanded us to love one another. We re taught to love God and hate sin without being what actions are and are not sins. Christians should be too busy to hate.
Variance - This means to divide. We used to be one nation under God. In the Lord’s prayer the concept of I, me, my, our mine does not occur one time. The only individual addressed is God.
OUR father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be THY name, THY kingdom come
THY will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Give US this day OUR daily bread and forgive OUR trespasses
As WE forgive those who trespass against US
Lead US not into temptation
But deliver US from evil
For THINE is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever
We are all one. The preacher has to follow God as well as the congregation. If you bring your family to a church because you like the way they teach God’s word, the pastor shouldn’t sleep with your wife.
Emulations - These are finger pointers. They look for transgression and have plans for what to do if found. However, no plans are made for doing good.
Wrath - Some people look a reason to get angry. Christians build and unite. Things have been turned upside down. Normal people are being condemned for not accepting a perverted lifestyle. Men want to go into a bathroom with little girls. It may be legal. But no law will unkick your ass if you try to go into a bathroom with mine. Police may arrest you for disciplining your child, but your child may be arrested if you don’t.
Strife - These people love to argue. God is in control. They may feel superior now, but pride goes before a fall.
Seditions - These people are divisive. America used to be one nation under God. After a presidential election, America used to get behind whoever won. When Obama stole the 2012 election, there were no protests.
Heresies - This is disunion. If we don’t stand together, we will fall apart. Politics has divided this nation.
Envying - Wanting what someone else has, instead of earning your own. Some people get angry at the thought of tax cuts for the rich. Only the rich are taxed excessively. The top half of earners pay almost all the taxes. Only those who are taxed beyond rates paid by all deserve a tax cut. What a person does with the money he’s earned is no one else’s business.
Murders - The taking of a human life that means you no harm. Abortion is murder. You have to be pro-abortion to be successful in politics.
Drunkenness - This means habitual intoxication. If you prioritize eating when you are hungry, drinking when you are thirsty, and having sex when you find a willing partner there is no difference between your mindset and a dog’s
Reviling - This is a product of drunkenness. Read Isaiah 28:1.
If all of these can be applied to you, you may be earning a seat in hell.

It is not envy to point out that if someone is taking in 100 times what the person doing the actual work is paid, then that someone should pay a higher percentage of tax for the common goods of roads, policing, etc. It is the person on the bottom who is doing the actual earning!
