You are spot on Jamesonblue, but I could never vote for a Rethugclan, first of all I am of the working class, and they have never done one thing to make live easier for the working person. Growing up I was on the right, my Dad was in WWII, Ike was the national hero. When I got out of the service, I looked hard at both parties. I would have liked to be a Republican, but could never save up enough money. and when I looked around all the working guys that were Repubs. it was soon apparent they were all wannabee's.

A Progressive Republican is the same as a Moderate Democrat.

It is whether they are conservative or not that is important.

Welfare does not solve the woes of the working stiff, only jobs do that. He needs enough money, sure, but he needs pride too, and there is nothing in the Democrat or Progressive policies that gives him (or her) jobs or pride.
