Normally, the American oligarchs buy politicians, this time, they decided to run the country directly. BTW, Trump is not, nor has ever been an Oligarch - but has desperately sought to join their ranks, making him the perfect patsy. He doesn't want us to see his tax returns, because it would prove he was broke, thus ripe for manipulation. He ain't broke no more, and has only been in office 3 months - imagine how wealthy he'll be in four years?

Optimistically I like to think that there is a there a turn of the tide with Trump being elected, Brexit happening and France's elections possibly reflecting a rejection of globalism?

Pessimistically I fear that some of the current cabinet members have a globalist stance.

Okie-of those 82 millionaires, how many were already millionaires before they entered the halls of congress? If all became wealthy as a result of their government service connections, they need to be investigated. That is the type
of corruption which Trump is alluding to and which will take time to eradicate. I do not have any problem with a person ,who is already wealthy, serving the country because they obviously have expertise that the country can
use. America First !!!

We live in a global era, working together seems to make sense. Not under one central government, but individual countries working together. To stop the military industrialists making money through war, but make money through new energy, advancement in agriculture, and economic development. Why is this so far out of reach from reason?
