There are several problems with this article: "In a vote on Tuesday, the Western Kentucky University student government passed a resolution, 19-10, that advocates the recognition of slavery as a 'debt that will never be paid' and offer free tuition to black students as compensation."

1) The debt has been repaid by President Abe Lincoln with the Homestead Act, free land to all who would take it and develop it.
2) We have free colleges and the vast majority of students do not graduate with degrees. Just look at California.
3) Today, there are more blacks in America that have migrated here from foreign countries post Civil War, than there are children of slaves. Are they all deserving of an "unpaid debt"?
4) Is lack of opportunity due to racism or is it due to lack of business start-up capital? We have still some 90 million unemployed or under-employed citizens of all ages and races, due to the great recession. The poor whites are pitted against the poor blacks to see who gets the most government perks. This is no solution.

Let's see what Trump's administration can do to fix the economy: cut business taxes, bring jobs back home, rebuild the infrastructure.

I want reparations for Affirmative Action & the fact that when my son applied for financial aid to one of those secretarial/trade schools, he was told if he a black or other minority or welfare mother, he'd have a just about a free ride.

All any of them has to do is tell me when, where and how much, and I will be pleased to take care of the rest, no questions asked. As for the ex-slaves of other people, I take no responsibility for them, but recommend they contact their ex-owners and use my offer to shame them into a similar arrangement.
