This article is incorrect in several assumptions. Number 1, it assumes that al-Assad used CW on a civilian population. It is illogical that Assad would use them at the exact time that he has been winning the war against ISIS. Trump would be a fool if he did not know all these things. I am quite sure he is better informed that I am, and it is very obvious to me that this was either, one, this was a false flag by the rebels to entice Trump to take the action that he did, or two, it was as Assad and the Russians claim, the destruction of a rebel cache of CW's.
Therefore, the basic premise laid out in this article is incorrect, and the author does not acknowledge any of these points.
