In a nutshell? The first three should be for American citizens and people in this country legally. Immigration? Control the border. No Amnesty. Control the Border. Deport illegal criminals. Control the Border. Food Stamps, Welfare, health care, etc.? More than 80 billion dollars worth per year that should go to American citizens and legal immigrants goes to wetbacks instead. Democrats want amnesty because with the exception of the Cuban community, Hispanics vote overwhelmingly Democrat. Also, (once again with the exception of the Cubans), Hispanics are more than twice as likely to receive these benefits as whites or blacks. Among illegals, the figure rises to nearly three times as likely. The Democrats, party of gladhanding with other people's money.

At least a CONSERVATIVE GOP PLAN would be: Have Fed Gov downsize & spend less & have Private Sector be able to afford to Hire People... This would allow People to NOT HAVE TO RELY ON BLESS-ED FOODSTAMPS & WELFARE & HEALTHCARE... And as for Immigration... ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS NEED TO BE DEPORTED...

Last I checked there were more whites on welfare and food stamps. 80 million is a large number. But it pales in comparison with corporate welfare given through tax loopholes and political deals.

Funny, no one complained when Italians, Irish and germans came to this country and monopolized the social service rolls. When it's your time to retire who will take care of you ? private business or the government that you hate so much.

Idiot comparison. When the Italians, Irish, Germans etc. immigrated to U.S. we were an ever expanding country and economy and their wasn't much if any of a welfare system. People learned to make it on their own with out a bunch of government handouts looted from the tax payers. I don't expect the government to take care of me at all when I retire. What is it you do or have not done that YOU EXPECT THE GOVERNMENT TO TAKE CARE OF YOU WHEN YOU RETIRE?

The Republican plan to start with, would do away with many of the restrictions and regulations imposed on businesses by the Obama administration. If you hinder the ability of business owners to expand their businesses you in effect prevent that business owner from hiring new employees. Republicans want to do away with our current oppressive tax codes, which would entice more businesses to return to "onshore" operations, making more jobs available to Americans. That's only a start, but it's a start, something this administration has not done in FIVE years!! You don't make a country stronger by "giving s--t away."

banjojack-spot on !!! Controlling the border is the key element and it can be done by using the National Guard to patrol the border while training. Each non-border State would be required to send troops to the border States to support the effort. Where there is a will- there is a way. What has been lacking is the "will". Good Luck America !!!
