Hello little lady. Very nice to hear from you. To be very frank about this. My son, who is working for a router company here in the Spokane area, set me up with a computer system years ago. And knowing nothing about them, try as I might, I was not able to fix it when it went wrong. ..... 99% of the time it was my fault .... So on the phone I go and call him. That lasted about a year before he got really sick and tired of me, .... as he said calling all the time .... asking for help. So being the wonderful son that he is. He thought it was a very good idea that his old man should learn a thing or two about computers. Being over 55 at the time, he told me I really should learn more about them. I will not bore you with all the stupid things I did to really tick him off. Be that as it may, .... and I'm sure great frustration on his part, ..... I am now able to not only operate a computer, I also build them. Every faze of them.
I am living proof that old dogs can learn new tricks. Love that boy.
So in doing some research on some past history on early model development, I ran across this picture.
The development of the computer is very fascinating. May be a boring read, but it is fascinating.
I believe the creation of the computer, is to me, the single most important development next to the wheel and language. But that's just me.
I hope you and yours are all well, and I know God holds you in his wonderful hands.
lolololol, I bet it was a learning expierence TO your son!!! Bet he never gave you anything to learn, too....lololol
Love the picture, saved too..Thank You.....
