I was raised on a dairy farm in the south, spent four years in the Navy, got a BS degree in education at Utah State University, a Masters degree in Natural Resource Management from University of Arizona, spent almost 40 years working in education at the high school and community college levels. I have been married for 52 years and have 2 adult children. My main interests in the political arena are social justice and environmental issues.
