There is a place that has been around a long time for intellectual enrichment it is called a library. You don't have to necessarily travel to the library. You can use your computer to get E-books free of charge from the library. If you can't find the title you want at the local library the library can query other libraries in the US. I have used this broadened search on queries that might be peculiar to my culture and heritage in the Ozarks.

Rude and crude Trump, he got things done. With his support of Capitalism, and less regulation there was more money in the economy which improved the lifestyle of more people. Then he was replaced with Biden the socialist poster boy, who immediately wrote twenty or more executive orders to prove he was a main stream socialist. Which started a disruption in the economy. But we are not eating garbage at least not yet.

For what it's worth, around 1974, I was stopped three times in one day. I am white, I had GA tags on my new Monte Carlo. I was travelling alone in NW Arkansas area.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis knocked President Joe Biden's messaging at the G7 summit, noting that America's enemies are "sizing up" the passive president at the international conference.

Fearless with Jason Whitlock
During an interview on Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures," DeSantis said Biden's low energy approach is "quite a contrast" from former President Donald Trump.

"I think that President Biden is someone that's much more passive on the world stage, not nearly as assertive as somebody like Donald Trump was," the Republican governor told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo. "I think his energy level is obviously much lower. And so I think that's just something that people are sizing up. I think that our adversaries are watching that."

"I didn't hear very much in the way of holding China accountable for their role in covering up the origins of the C****-** p******c," he continued. "I think that's absolutely essential that China be held

DeSantis also questioned Biden's loyalty toward Middle America while he was hobnobbing with European elites and making commitments to decrease the energy production in the United States.

"They were talking economically a lot about other countries, [Biden] was talking about reducing energy production worldwide, and I couldn't help but think, here in the United States, he's leaving a lot of people behind," DeSantis said.

"Look at all the workers he left behind by canceling the Keystone XL pipeline," DeSantis noted. "Those were thousands and thousands of very good jobs."

"And then also think about family budgets, with the sharp increase in gas prices, and then the overall budding inflation that we are seeing that's being fueled by his big-spending policies," DeSantis said of deteriorating economic factors since Biden took office. "So, I think that his performance probably played well with European elites. Not sure that there was much in it for Middle America."

The national average gallon of regular gas in the U.S. is $3.078, versus $2.100 in 2020, according to AAA. Gas prices for Memorial Day weekend were the highest since 2014.

Consumer prices rose 5% year over year in May, the fastest pace since August 2008, CNBC reported.

DeSantis touted his home state of Florida for attracting wealthy individuals and corporations from other states.

"I mean, before C***D, we had seen by far the highest amount of wealth move into Florida compared to any other state," he explained. "But I think that's accelerated since C***D. I think you're seeing a lot of people move here. Obviously, we have a very favorable tax climate. Florida is the lowest per capita tax burden, individual tax burden, in the country. And we are very proud of that. That has led, obviously, to more businesses moving here."

I just queried gaffes by Biden. I knew he had made some gaffes but I didn't know he had made so many. He ought to take is comedy routine "on the road" and leave us, but then we would have Kamela.

Responsible people with rudimentary logic have a challenge when the American Flag and pick up trucks are perceived as racist. The Racist label seems to be applied to an inordinate exceedingly wrongful amount of situations. What has happened to intelligent thought? There is however clear thought by Antifa and other left wing extremist to exploit the naivete of white guilt. Anti-fa is using this to destroy America.

Your post is truly great. It is a strong indictment of the present barbaric action of so called protestors.

The present mob behavior is horrible. They are a mob I don't see how they can be characterized otherwise. America has challenges relating to negative issues. But there is a framework within The US Constituan to address these issues. There is redress in the Judicial, Executive and Legislative branch of the government.

If the present protesters actually think there is an instant utopia with wave of magic wand then they are naive.

I had a cursory impression that s***ery was multifaceted issue, However with less than half an hour research on the internet, the history of the extent of s***ery and the various parties involved is overwhelming.

S***ery has occurred throughout human history, there have been many people involved from all backgrounds, and s***ery was part of the economic structure. At one time, England was considering joining forces with the confederacy because their textile industry was devastated because of the lack of cotton. Issues are not all "black and white" when you give them serious consideration.

In light of the present mindset, s***ery was wrong. But l**ting and r**ting is wrong and counter productive. Do you really want a dictatorship? In the extremes of human behavior, you might get a dictator. It has happened before. Consider Cuba, Venezuela and North Korea and China.

It taxes all known human wisdom to adequately describe the absurdity of the legislation to stop Trump's travel bans. Individuals who statistically are above average in intelligence and formal education foster this nonsensical legislation.

The above dialogue, if you can call it that, is about superficial personality disorders.

The main thing to remember is that, generally, the republicans believe there is not a "magic wand" solution to societal problems. The magic wand tax and spend approach destroys creativity; it discourages bright capable people from stepping forth to solve complex issues. Under Mao's leadership, eight million Chinese starved to death in 1958

Thinking people around the world wonder how a loud mouthed criminal huckster became the 45th President and now researchers may have discovered part of the reason. Consuming a western diet for as little as one week can subtly impair brain function and encourage slim and otherwise healthy young people to overeat, scientists claim.

Researchers found that after seven days on a high fat, high added sugar diet, volunteers in their 20s scored worse on memory tests and found junk food more desirable immediately after they had finished a meal.

The finding suggests that a western diet makes it harder for people to regulate their appetite, and points to disruption in a brain region called the hippocampus as the possible cause.

“After a week on a western-style diet, palatable food such as snacks and chocolate becomes more desirable when you are full,” said Richard Stevenson, a professor of psychology at Macquarie University in Sydney. “This will make it harder to resist, leading you to eat more, which in turn generates more damage to the hippocampus and a vicious cycle of overeating.”

Previous work in animals has shown that junk food impairs the hippocampus, a brain region involved in memory and appetite control. It is unclear why, but one idea is that the hippocampus normally blocks or weakens memories about food when we are full, so looking at a cake does not flood the mind with memories of how nice cake can be. “When the hippocampus functions less efficiently, you do get this flood of memories, and so food is more appealing,” Stevenson said.

To investigate how the western diet affects humans, the scientists recruited 110 lean and healthy students, aged 20 to 23, who generally ate a good diet. Half were randomly assigned to a control group who ate their normal diet for a week. The other half were put on a high energy western-style diet, which featured a generous intake of Belgian waffles and fast food.

“Understanding the impact of a western diet on brain function is a matter of urgency given the current food climate,” she said. “This research has provided data to support detrimental effects on both memory and appetite control after just one week of an energy-dense diet and may suggest a link between poor diet and impairment of the hippocampus, a key memory and appetite-associated brain region. The mechanisms at work remain to be elucidated and will require further research with the application of more sophisticated neuroimaging methods.”

So in a nutshell, many Trump supporters are that way simply because they have eaten themselves stupid.
Thinking people around the world wonder how a loud... (show quote)

This diatribe about junk food just made me remember that I have a cherry pie in the oven. Do you know why I have an extremely delicious frozen pie that only requires putting it in the oven? The main factor is Capitalism; someone makes money by providing me with goods and services. Unlike the gang that is competing to be the next democratic president, Trump believes in Capitalism

Is this the latest on discovery on the shenanigans of Hillary? The state department after three years or more is just now making this discovery?? It helps put the present unsubstantiated charges against Trump pale in comparison

State Dept Finds 588 Violations, 38 People ‘Culpable’ In Violations In Clinton Server Investigation
October 20, 2019 4943

The investigation into the private email server of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is complete and it is no good news for the Democrats.

There were 588 violations found and 38 people were found to be ‘culpable’ in t***smitting classified information.

“APD’ s administrative review of the HRC emails resulted in the adjudication of 91 valid violations attributable to 38 individuals.

“Additionally, APD adjudicated 497 valid violations where no individual was found to bear culpability, resulting in a ‘valid, but not culpable’ determination,” the report said.
The State Department concluded that using the private server “added an increased degree of risk of compromise, as a private system lacks the network monitoring and intrusion detection capabilities of [the] State Department.”

People from the NW Arkansas area, that are of a certain age, can remember a TV and radio broadcast that was presented around noon every day. This was more or less a C&W variety show. This show was on the Pittsburg Kansas channel.

One day my dad and I were watching this show and a lady well past her beauty queen years was playing the piano. With a "thousand yard stare", she would give a "wooden" smile to the public. When I commented to dad about this, he said "hell Bill Jr. her clutch is slippin'."

When I recount this incident, I think about some of Biden's blunders. He may have his time-induced lapses, but he has just a little practical wisdom.

A cynic might say, if Trump and Biden can achieve their status in life, there is hope for everyone.
